About
Palm Beach Jeff is a small, quiet game for one player.
You wake up on a beach. The sun's already high. There's a hermit crab.
Tap a palm — wait — a coconut falls. Tap a tide pool to snorkel for a pearl. Walk along the shore picking up driftwood. Slowly, over real-world days, your shelter takes shape: first a scrappy lean-to, then a proper beach hut, eventually either a small white-and-blue temple at the edge of the lagoon or a wooden longhouse with a stone hearth — your choice.
A journal writes itself as you live. Each visit, the island remembers what happened while you were away. On day three, the crab gets a name. Bottles wash up with messages from people you don't know. Visitors arrive — a fisherman with questions, a haenyeo diver who trades pearls, a wandering monk who sits in silence and leaves a small carved figure on the sand.
Inside the shelter, if you let yourself sit there long enough, you start to remember things. A kitchen. A name you used to answer to. The sound of a screen door closing.
Eventually a yacht passes the lagoon. You can wave. It keeps sailing. The game does not end.
No score. No fail state. No ads, no sign-in, no data collected. Just the tide, and you, and the time you spend.
