Nice app
It works just as shown easy to use
Dont buy a Code amp!!!
I was excited to get the code 100, a Marshall made modeling amp? Exactly what I was waiting for. I found it very versatile and easy to use ESPECIALLY WITH THE PHONE APP. Marshall just walked away from it and discontinued support. It got bad reviews but I imagine that most of them were karens that were too lazy to figure it out. The general case with most modeling amps. Anyway if the system gets corrupted you are out. Moving on…

Account sign up
This apps sign in process is horrible can’t make an account and I go to forget my password to try log in with a new password in my emails but I never get the emails
Worthless
I tried for about 2 hours to get this app to work. I was able to connect to my amp for about a total of 5 minutes- enough to scroll through settings. This does not work, does not stay connected, and is VERY buggy. Marshall, you need to remove this from the App Store.
Good but lacking
Would be nice to have a EQ and use other pedals and move presets from saved to the 100 available but other than that it’s a pretty good app with a good tuner

Great app but
It's a great app has a amazing tuner and app modelling but unfortunately I can't use a compressor pedal with distortion/overdrive
Marshall needs to lead
This is a great app for a great lineup of amps. What’s *not* great is Marshall’s lack of leadership in telling us what’s going on with the CODE lineup of amps and support for them when they’re discontinued.
The current approach is silence, and it makes me want to stop investing in Marshall gear.
Marshall, speak up. Lead.

Can’t update firmware to 1.47
Bluetooth doesn’t work. No USB cord included. Looks like a very old type of USB. Used an old Roku USB but won’t connect. I read reviews from 2 yrs ago where developer says to update firmware to 1.47. I just got this a week ago. Why doesn’t it ship with 1.47? Very disappointed. No way to use the app. Amp does sound beautiful though. Sad.
Update: I found another old mini-USB that worked properly. Had to download Edge browser for Win8 even though I have Win7.
ALSO: Nowhere are there directions to hold down REV & POWER buttons simultaneously to pair with iPhone Bluetooth, but that’s what worked. That is such an important feature of the amp that you’d think there’d be at least a sticker on the amp to tell you that. Geez. Anyway, got it all working, updated firmware, sounds great. Changed my rating from 1 star to 4. It would’ve been 5 stars if you guys provided some decent documentation.

Huh??
Doesn’t work no matter what I try
Stopped Using It
Stopped using the app after Marshall removed the tuning feature.
Now this is better
For years the app was pretty much useless, spent more time trying to connect the amp than playing it. Since the recent update I’m playing more than ever, brilliant app now, really enjoying it. Thanks for sorting this Marshall
Overall Okay
The app does its job however the saving of new presets is not totally intuitive. Also any new presets you create will not be organized by numerical or alphabetical order so finding them can occasionally be a pain. How does that make any sense?
Update Helped A lot
The most recent updates definitely helped with bluetooth and app connectivity. That being said, I don't understand why the playback section was removed. You can no longer adjust bluetooth playback volume separately from the amp volume. Also, the master volume dial being incredibly sensitive is still an issue.
Edit: Ignore review about playback volume; I was being dumb and it works fine as the Devs pointed out. I’ve been using this for several months now and still loving it.
If any app devs are able to pass the sensitivity issue of the master volume along to the actual Code 50 amp firmware devs, a lot of people would appreciate it.

Bluetooth keeps disconnecting
Bluetooth keeps kicking out when I’m going through online settings. I keep getting “teconnecting” under code connection.
Why delete Tuner and playback?
Apps are meant to get better not lose functionality! Why delete the Tuner and Playback??
It’s fixed
With the firmware update on the amp and the update with app, it finally works. It does what it says it does. No more back and forth changing the sittings. Never worked before. I have a brand new amp v
Update?
This update features smaller type and fewer features. Where's the tuner? It wasn't great but it got you in the ballpark. Also if you're going to update firmware for the amp the one thing that needs fixing the most is the gap when switching presets or preamp. There's no delay in engaging the "pedals" so what is the difference to a computer program when engaging a different preset or preamp?
