Not working at all after update. “Searching for” my Heston, again!
I love the Heston but thought the app was bad - it’s useless now as I have to start from scratch deleting and reinstalling, calibrating and sorting all the presets and saved radio stations again (which I hope are easier to find since the update and not hidden away). So disappointing - I wanted a radio station I had saved to listen to the news and missed it as Heston not recognised. I Hate Apps! Wish there were more controls on the unit so I never had to use a damn app. Never work when you want them. Always wanting updates.
Update to earlier … iPads can both now recognise my Heston, but can’t connect to WiFi - says no WiFi found. I’m using the WiFi to do this! My TV is streaming fine! Suggestion is to move the soundbar closer to router (or router closer to soundbar). My superfast WiFi is connected through the outside wall into my kitchen. Don’t really want a 65” TV in there to be near the router when the TV works fine where it is. Was OK yesterday. Falling out of love with Heston now. Factory re-sets and losing saved radio stations and presets is a pain in the a***. This time I won’t bother to set them up and just use my Naim muso instead.
