Ridiculous, fix it already
Used to be great, now it’s dreadful
With recent changes they have ruined the game. It was taking 20-30 minutes daily commitment to be competitive this is now well over two hours. Not only that but the matches just aren’t fun anymore they take too long and quite frankly are not interesting enough to warrant the time spent. Not only that but the game has introduced 6* characters but it’s almost impossible to acquire them without spending money. I have no problem buying things in a game when I know what I will get but so much of the purchases in this game are chances to get something and frankly I am not spending the hundreds of dollars required to get enough covers into the 6* characters to make them useful. Games should be fun, and MPQ has not been fun for a long time.

underrated game
This game is amazing. I remember playing this game a long time ago, back in 2013. Which is actually the year it came out. I got it in December I believe. At the time there was still in its potential spot but like anything else, with time it becomes greater. So, I recently downloaded it again, probably January of 2026 and it’s changed so much; for the better!
There are way more Marvel characters than I can keep up with. Of course you want to keep all the covers you get but unless you pay to get more space you’re forced to lose them or sell them for crystals. It’s ok because down the road you eventually run back into those covers you need for newer missions, etc. I’ve spent probably $100 alone because I chose to. It’s addictive, keeps you entertained, kills time, and the developers have really kept it authentic. In the words of Deadpool, “Your crazy matches my crazy.”

Unplayable
Whenever I open the app it literally takes 10-15 minutes to load and trying to actually play the game is such a drag all I get is load screens, the characters don’t load in the game, and when matching gems the game just bogs down, this should absolutely not happen on a iPhone 12.
Just terrible, I’ve been playing since the first day the app came out with no problems until the app was sold or taken over by the new developer, now it’s just complete trash.

Can’t link my account
Can’t link my account so years of progress seems to be gone keeps telling there’s some kind of error and to try again later
What happened?
This used to be my favorite game. Now, the glitches and freezing are out of control! It’s getting so that I can’t even finish a round because the game just freezes, and then boots me. It’s so frustrating, now, and that’s a shame.

writing this again because my yelena belova does even less damage at lvl 560. 2k damage when you’re in matches with opponents who are lvl 300 plus with 50k plus health is a joke. I paid for this character and to have her suck so bad feels like either really bad development, or an inconsiderate balance that takes away any value from the character especially after being advertised for a a dollar amount.

Slightly better yet worse
Revised to 1 star. New update 344 is incredibly laggy and constantly loads graphics over and over. Annoying and slow. A frustrating experience.
Also the devs are increasingly trying to make us play longer. I guess so we might spend money on the extremely hard to get, paywalled 6 star tier which is mostly a joke.
They are nerfing the best tool (Iron May) for playing because she’s used too much. Just 1.5 weeks after putting up a cash bundle! Fark that. Spending is stupid. It’s probably shutting down within 6 months tops.
They want all the best characters to be weaker. This is the opposite of fun. It’s like if you are in a pool and having a blast on water slides and someone dumps a bunch of dirt into it and turned it into a mud pit and told you to jump around in it instead, when you didn’t want to.
Devs just want you to need new stuff but if you chase new toons you can’t use most of them in the Heroic mode for PvE which is required for high placement but restricts your roster choices. It’s a mess with no clear design direction, just haphazard things they are doing desperately for cash.

Don’t Bother
Game is literally unplayable. Constant crashes, freezes, slow sluggish responsiveness along with other bugs. Used to work perfectly fine until they forced the unity update upon everyone without actually testing it. They are still very happy to take your cash though!

Last, money-grabbing throes of a desperate game
After 4,278 days I’m calling it quits. What a sorry decline. Constant, cynical changes to keep players in the app for as long as possible:
- Heroic mode that doubles clear times.
- Daily quests that conflict with Heroic characters, so you have to grind other modes.
- Nerfs that go against the speed-meta established over 12 years
- Laggy menus
- Basic, obvious bugs that show minimal playtesting
A message to the developers: the quality of time spent is more important to players than the quantity of time spent. And if you’re chasing the whales, they’ll only stick around as long as there’s an active community of players.
A message to would-be players: find something else. I used to love this game, but it’s been in a downward spiral for years. For the past 12 months it’s been in freefall.
A message to the people still playing: have some dignity and demand better from these developers. They are preying on player apathy to keep milking your wallets that little bit longer until they shut the game down. They are putting no love or care into it.

I’ve been playing this game since the beginning and it’s basically unplayable. I can’t do more than one “fight” or the game crashes. I can’t do pvp at all, not that I mind that. But I can’t play events, do daily events- nothing. Apparently, they did some big update, but I see absolutely no difference.
My phone used to get really hot if I played for a long time, and though I can’t confirm it because I can’t play long enough, I’m sure that problem still persists.
In conclusion- don’t bother downloading. I’m not sure why they haven’t just closed the game down. It’s obvious they’ve lost almost all the players they had, and I can’t imagine anyone willing to spend real money on a game they can’t even play.

Let’s charge real money for characters then nerf them 3 weeks later.
Game is super buggy after several turnovers of the developer. Selling characters for real money only to need them 2-3 weeks later. That’s not shady at all. Also, somehow the latest devs think longer play sessions are better. They probably are for their internal metrics but not so much for the end users.

The game keeps freezing and making me restart the app completely. pVP events I come so close to winning and it just freezes.

Latest Update bricked my 3 year old IPad, it’s 2 big!
I cannot even play the game I love now because the update is sooo huge, because of Unity updates that a 3 year old Ipad with NOTHING ELSE ON IT CAN RUN THIS DARN UPDATE! After 9 years of daily play, forced out because of being poor, just sad! I can’t help I got stage 4 Cancer & am broke now for whatever life I have left.💔🥺🥺🥺

Version R343 buggy
Stuck at 50% during login. I’ve been very patient with this game with all the ups & down after transitioning to Unity. But now I can’t support this poor quality of an excuse of a game.

Update 6/03/26 - game is still buggy. for about a month now, when i intend to close the app by swiping up and out, the app freezes and takes the phone with it. my phone is unresponsive for a few minutes until the app comes around. how long has the developer been promising to fix this amazing game engine they switched to?
Update 3/13/26 - if it's not one thing it's something else. For about 2 weeks now, the game freezes/crashes during gameplay, then I'm forced to use a heal power up to start all over again b/c the game thinks I retreated.
Update 8/7/25 - app won't load past opening splash screen. It's stuck at 42%. Why are you doing this developers? Still your fault.

Crashes all the time
I used to really love this game. But with the updates this game freezes constantly and crashes. It’s just not worth my time any more.
