Terrible
Glitchy to say the least. Every time the network connection is lost (which will happen a couple times a game), you are forced to watch 1-2 commercials, missing the game in the process.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have access to the MASN app through my TV provider MASN subscription. However, using the app on my iPad, I continually get a playback error. When the error pops up, the options are refresh or contact support. Well, when you refresh, you now have to watch another 30seconds worth of ads right in the middle of a game, then it works for maybe a minute or two and the error pops up again. If you choose “contact support”, which I’ve done several times, they never respond. It’s a joke!! Completely worthless app and completely worthless support.

Constantly freezes
Constantly freezes, then makes you watch 2 ads before you can return to the stream. Utterly unwatchable. Remove those ads until you can fix the freezing problem
Horrible app
It’s unbelievable they want to charge as much as they do, for an app that doesn’t work 2/3 rds of the time. You spend more time watching commercials than the game. Playback error will constantly pop up and, it will go to take break from the action screen. Worst paid for app ever. Don’t waste your money!

playback issues and ads
it works, but u always gotta watch 30 seconds of ads when u click on the game, which u gotta do pretty frequently bc theres always playback issues. it gets the job done but really annoying to use sometimes

You have to watch an ad just start watching the channel. Which once you are on also has ads. When I turn the game I expect to see the game if there’s action happening. If I turn it on between innings fair enough show me an ad. But if I get an alert that my favorite player is up to bat and I have to suffer through a 30 second ad I’ve seen 100 times and miss the AB that ridiculous. Why am I even paying for this service at that point if I can’t get the content when I want it. Also the ad plays if you switch devices with air play. It’s just so bad for 20 dollars a month but sadly the only option if you want watch the Os.

Couldn't sign in
I tried to sign up so I could watch some orioles games. I couldn't even sign in as it kept kicking me back for my email to ask for the one-time password. Not with the $20 a month of the $180 annual membership. Guess I won't watch the O's or when other teams that I follow play them.

It never worked to show live games from the moment we downloaded it.

I have to delete and redownload this almost every game🤬 unfortunately I prepaid for a full season of this frustration.
Stopped working on AppleTV
Like the title says: all of a sudden live video has stopped working on AppleTV. In general too they could really work on the layout of the app. They can’t show scores or schedules? They can’t show the box score for the game in progress? Why is that functionality only in the MLB app?
The Worst App Ever Created
This app constantly crashes, followed by a mandatory ad. The support team is useless and everything they provide is clearly cookie-cutter copy and paste. Combine a terrible app with terrible features and terrible customer service and the house deserves every poor rating it has.
Playback errors
Last year was totally fine and this year I’m getting playback errors on both my phone and iPad often, like every game, multiple times per game. Then I have to watch an ad before it gets me back into the live coverage

These people can’t get it right. Randomly can’t full screen anymore. Completely useless at times. People who made this should legitimately be working at McDonald’s. And they make no changes. Good luck!
Doesn’t support Picture in Picture 😖
Edit: a year later and it still doesn’t have Picutre in picture. When you switch apps, it cuts the feed and then makes you watch an ad when you get back to the game after missing half an inning. When MASN goes out of business they’ll have no one to blame but themselves.

If you get a text while watching the game and open a different app, it pauses the live feed. Then, when you come back, your game is lagging behind. It will then “jump” a few seconds and skip ahead, but not to the actual live feed. It will just keep skipping to random points until it eventually catches up. There’s no button to automatically skip ahead to the live feed. So you have to exit, then restart the stream, which forces you to watch an ad. So prepare to miss entire parts of the game or not check any notifications if you don’t want to miss anything. Horrible, horrible design.

Better than nothing.
-Doesn’t stream in 4k. So image is a bit grainy / pixely.
- The same, repetitive commercials is enough to drive you insane.
- EVERY time you sign in it of course HAS to play a commercial first. So when it buffers and disconnects and you go back into the app, commercial. Even if it’s mid play, tied up, bottom of the 9th. You have to watch a commercial that you’ve seen literally a 100 times during the course of a game. 👎🏼

Apple TV App Awful
The video on the Apple TV app is a disgrace, unless you like your video blurry, choppy and fuzzy. For crying out loud, this is 2026 and it still looks like the picture is being received by rabbit ears. Come to think of it, rabbit ears might be an improvement.
Please put this app out of our misery and shift your streaming to the MLB and ESPN apps.

This works on my iPhone but you’re locked into the app if you’re watching live TV games.
On AppleTV it is a complete disappointment. The app crashes and you have reinstall it to work.

Early 2000’s features
As an Orioles fan, app is embarrassing, at least on an iPhone for me. Apparently it’s the same for everyone based on other reviews. It only makes sense out of desperation because of MLB blackouts if you are cutting the cord.
If I paid $20/month I would expect for the app to minimize so I could display another app simultaneously and have the game run in the background- LIKE EVERY OTHER TV APP!

Terrible
This is one of the worst apps and outright lies when it comes to a purchase. The app never works. It doesn’t stream well even when it actually does open and they sold it as getting mlb.tv as well and we didn’t. You got to watch the orioles on mlb which doesn’t make much sense if this app did what it was supposed to do. You can’t watch any other team. This thing is useless.
