Great play-along BT MIDI feature
Amazing!!!
The GOAT of Piano Apps
Key Features: Large song library (with full songs in range of difficulty levels), MIDI compatible, Advanced learning/practice modes, Practice stats and history...also FREE.
We've tried multiple piano apps in the past and Master Piano incorporates the best of all the other apps. We are using it as a way to learn and practice new songs but have not tried the "lessons," so no comment on that since my kid already knows how to play.
I personally love it for the stats to monitor my kid, and my kid has really enjoyed using it.
Here is what my kid wrote based on his own experience:
There are many good apps to learn piano, and Master Piano is one of them. I've been using it for a month and working on one song. I've gotten a lot better at piano because of it.
Master piano is very good. Number one, there are over 1,200 songs you can play and listen to. When you are trying to learn to play a song, there are so many tools to help you, like the "learn" feature. Say there is a specific measure you are trying to learn, with the learn feature, you can easily select your measure, then you can repeatedly play it over again.
Master Piano also comes with all of your stats, how much time you play, your accuracy, and much more. There is also a leaderboard, and I like seeing my name on there.
Master Piano is one of the best apps to learn piano, and so many things I did not mention. Also, it is free, and it helps a lot.

Response from developer
Hi Maryanne, I'm sorry the experience landed this way. When we noticed the brief access bug on our side, I emailed you directly to fix it before you'd even written in. Apple has since processed your refund in full, which is the right outcome. The locked higher grades aren't a Premium gate. They're a curriculum progression that unlocks as you complete each grade's exam. That part is a UX failure on our side, and we're already working on clearer signposting plus a way for subscribers to enter at their actual level. If anything ever feels off for anyone reading this, email adnan@masterpiano.com directly. We're a tiny team and read every message. Adnan, MasterPiano
