Latest update (August 2026) has improvements but you can no longer zoom in on the images. Without being able to see the detail of products it’s somewhat useless. Also where have the reviews disappeared to? I depend on customer feed back to make an assessment. Lastly, I do wish the length of clothing would be routinely provided esp for trousers, jeans etc to avoid wasting time ordering and repeatedly having to return clothing due to lack of this detail. Come on, you’ve gone to the trouble and expense of refreshing the app, can you please get the basics right?

While we currently have our general size guide on each page, I’ve passed your comments straight over to our team regarding specific garment measurements like trouser lengths. Frustrating
Shopped at Matalan for years always offers variety & value for money. My online experience is frustrating web site is difficult to load, changed to the app with no improvement tried to login but couldn’t,, tried to put clothes in bag but couldn’t! Eventually managed to place an order but took me an hour to but 3 items. It won’t stop me from trying but thank goodness I’m patient.

Not a smooth experience
At first I tried to create an account after shopping from a link on facebook and the response was that my email address was invalid. It wasn’t! I then opened Matalan separately from a Safari search, entered the same details and it worked first time.
Also, at checkout, there was no criteria mentioned about delivery charges until check out. Give us a clue in advance. I also didn’t like the way that you worded the donation to charity. I do donate to charities but like to be in control of how and when. Your wording didn’t make it clear how I could opt out and I think a donation has now been made from my account because of the confusing way in which you presented it.
