Fix the loophole
The app and game itself are entertaining and work well. Giving 1 star for the loophole in gameplay that forces people to win/lose. The winning side can stop playing the game and you are locked into a scenario where you cannot finish the match because your opponent effectively stops playing once they have the lead. So your opponent gets the first goal, stops playing and waits for you to exit the match so they can get an automatic win. Or you are winning early and they stop playing, with you being stuck to decide to wait them out or exit and taking a loss. If you exit because they stop playing then you lose your match. If you don’t exit the match then you are effectively stuck in the game until they exit. Since they refuse to continue playing (for a long time) you have to either take the loss or have yourself stuck in a match with no end (unless they decide to quit or play). Its a loophole that needs fixed. It effectively ruins the gameplay and is akin to cheating and poor sportsmanship. So your losses and wins do not accurately reflect gameplay.

Doesn't work most of the time
You'll be super lucky to login. Don't bother trying to login over the weekend. That time dev team have a rest, so the app doesn't work. If they reply to this message with "contact our support, blah blah" please know that doesn't work. They will reply on Monday :) The game have a potential but the glitches will prevent you to play it. If you need a stress in your life this game is perfect fit for you :)

Card Collecting Good - Rest Poor
My son and I collect cards from a number of the games, including this one. Visually we like the cards the best from Match Attax. The variety is good and it makes for a long-term project.
Initially, we enjoyed the online game, too. Rules are simple as is the game play. Visually looks good, too.
The challenge is the game seldom works properly and it crashes regularly. We now find that we cannot find other people to play games against online and you just hang there for a few minutes before giving up.
The attribute cards, substitutions and so on we never use because they just cause the game to crash.
It is very disappointing given the time and money we spend and am assuming the developers, too.

Fun Until it Completely Stops Working
My son and I both have spent a great deal of time playing this game. I have spent a good deal of money on both our accounts to support the development of the app. We had a magnificent time playing it for a while. In fact, my son was a few matches away from his 10th and final star when the application suddenly stopped working for both of us on both his iPad and my iPhone. As soon as the application loads the main screen, it hits a bug and immediately closes. We’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game after removing any data stored on the devices and in iCloud related to the game multiple times to no avail.
It’s a shame really. I don’t mind spending some money to support the development of an app (I’m a developer myself), but when the developers don’t care enough to support their loyal users, it’s really hard to get behind them and tell the world how great a job they’re doing. I’ve been a Topps customer for 30 years - since back when packs of cards had gum in them. It’s disappointing. When I reach out to them about an issue - IF they get back to me about it at all, it takes weeks. Once upon a time someone there would have cared. I’d be happy to edit my review if they take their own app and paying customers seriously enough to fix the issue in a timely manner. I’m certain we’re not the only ones who can’t play anymore due to this bug.

Glitches
I deleted the app instantly I couldn’t even play a game it glitched me out of the game and I know I’m not the only one that this happened to them. Pls fix this and I might get this game again but honestly way to many bugs and more.
I love match attacks
I like it it’s because you can get soccer cards and I also like soccer cards in real life
Pack problems
Um the game is great but when I go to redeem free pack Friday codes or any codes I open the pack but it doesn’t show any cards that I got on screen so it looks like I’m just opening empty packs I’d like to know if u could do anything about this or if anyone else is having this problem to but otherwise I love the game it was great at first but this problem is making me not enjoy playing as much but thank you and have a great day love the game.

Does not let me scan when I want to it says to login even tho I am already logged in
Game is unusable
The game was ok. It didn’t have very good training material. You have to figure it out as you go. After the latest update the game won’t even load. It has the loading screen with a status bar but the bar never loads above 0%. Doesn’t even try to load. I have closed it out completely and even restarted my phone. Nothing works. I tried the help link above, that took me to a web page that no longer exists. Thanks anyway.

Fun game but won’t let me update
I cannot figure out how to update this app. It says it needs an update, but in the App Store it just says “open” not update. And when I open it, it won’t let me get past a screen that says I need to update. I’m afraid if I delete the app that all the packs I’ve gotten will be lost.

Crap
Very disappointing. After spending a couple hundred dollars for my sons birthday on in-store packs as well as online packs we still cannot find an actual confirmation on how to play and what the rules are. I’ve been to the website, google searched, and the support link on this apple app page even is broken. Pure garbage.

It’s good but you need to have tournaments all the time.
Only for Collectors
The collecting part is really fun. Gathering cool cards and making a team that fits under the budget is awesome….. and then you get the games. The concept is simple, play a card with a higher attack or defense than the opponent. I was winning my first 5 games, 4-0, and every single one ended in a disconnect from the opponent, or the game freezing when the opponent doesn’t play a card by the end of the time limit. The game gets stuck at that point and you can’t do anything until you forfeit the game, even though you are winning.

Issue with Contacting
When the game has problems, it’s almost impossible to share the issue. Currently cant play tournament due to card restriction. I add the correct card and it still won’t let me play. No ability to get help to clear the problem. Also when the game glitches and causes issues in tourneys. Otherwise awesome fun game. Make it easier to send issues to help with resolving them.

Great game, with a couple small issues
Fun game and easy to catch on to the actual game itself. Making a team under budget is hard and becomes a guessing game till you finally come in at or under budget. Also it logs you out randomly and if you try to have an email sent with your password the app says “the server encountered an unexpected error” and you cannot log in again. Good game just frustrating issues that get in the way of fun gameplay

The game has a bug it keeps kicking me out

One problem
So its a great game but it resets me and makes me resign in it is obnoxious and annoying please fix this
Probably the worst game anyone can play
I decided to try the game again since I have about 40 of the free pack cards laying around. Who would have known that they are still invalid. Plus the gameplay is absolutely terrrible. The cards are good but this game is very bad. The actual in person game is more fun. 🤦♂️
