About
Your child practices math for two minutes a day to care for its Math-imal. You don't have to ask them to.
I'm a solo developer who was looking for an app like this for my own kids (ages 9 and 11). Most math practice apps are tedious or over-complicated, and they fail to keep kids engaged.
By allowing kids to create their own unique Math-imal and earn food and cool clothing items by practicing, they actually want to practice math!
I hope yours will too!
HOW A SESSION WORKS
• Ten problems per round — times tables, division, addition or subtraction — generated fresh every time
• Under two minutes
• A big custom keypad — no typing, no reading required
• Available in 16 languages
WHAT YOUR CHILD KEEPS
• A Math-imal that is theirs alone — one of 60 combinations, hatched once and named by them
• A streak, with freezes so one missed day doesn't undo a month
• Hats and glasses that drop as rewards and get better as the streak grows — 21 to collect
• Streaky, a snake that grows with every round
• A room to arrange the collection in
ABOUT MONEY, HONESTLY
There are no ads in this app, no subscriptions, and no tracking. There are optional one-time purchases: decorations for your child's room. Nothing you can buy changes the math, the practice or your child's progress — and every purchase sits behind a parental gate a young child will not get past on their own.
NO ACCOUNT, EVER
No sign-up, no email address, no third-party analytics. The app works fully offline and runs on older, handed-down phones. Progress is backed up automatically under a random identifier, so a lost phone doesn't have to mean a lost Math-imal.
Made for roughly ages 6 to 9 — and for anyone older who never quite got the times tables to stick.
I tried to make this as parent- and kid-friendly as possible. If something is wrong or missing, write to me: info@lazy-android.com

A wrong answer now shows the number as dots, grouped in fives, so it can be seen instead of counted and gives your child a second go at it. Where the app knows a way to work it out from something they already know, it shows that too (7 x 5 = 35, and one more 7). In Settings you can choose when the picture appears, and switch on a gentler mode without streak pressure.
