Great product, but…
The actual Matic vacuum/mopping bot is great does a great job and my floors are immaculate. However, this app appears to be a huge resource hog. Not only does it use a for bit of memory but I is a HUGE drain on battery of my iPhone 16. Just opening for 5 or less minutes results in a huge temp spike on my phone and at least a 15% depletion of battery.

Frictionless. Absolutely LOVE the App interface with Matic Robot
The live view is the sleeper feature. Watching the robot navigate around our three dogs and their toys while I’m out of the house is genuinely entertaining, and the whole experience is smooth and instant.
The robot itself matches the app: it rolled out of its shipping box and greeted our family by name, it’s quiet enough that our dogs are curious instead of scared, and it’s the first robot vacuum I’ve owned that feels like a true robot rather than a vacuum with sensors. Seamless from unboxing to daily use. Outstanding work, Matic team.

This robot is the best of all
I picked up a Matic about a month ago and I can’t recommend this enough. After trying almost all the Chinese robots (which is most of them that copied roomba), this is the only robot vacuum that can handle my four dogs and very dirty life.
I don’t know how more people aren’t using this product yet, it’s absolutely fantastic.

THE *BEST* YOU CAN GET
Matic is amazing. The robot and the company. Matic is cleaning in places and in ways no other robot has been able to before. It’s the most thorough clean I’ve ever had from a robovac, it never gets stuck, maintenance is brilliantly easy, and the whole thing gets better every day/week/month. Matic support is absolutely top notch too.

Love the product, but the app could use some improvement
App has some performance issues, like sometimes when scrolling the settings page it’s just drops to ~15fps (on iOS26.5, 17ProMax). Other than that it’d be nice to have the ability to have routine presets u can run on-demand with 1 click for custom cleans without having to draw every time or schedule them. And for no-go zones it’d be useful to be able to select recognized areas such as carpets instead of having to carefully outline. It would also be nice if it came back to missed spots at least with the deep clean setting, since it shows them on the map as it’s cleaning, sometimes it misses the middle of its turn around radius but it’s an unobstructed spot and I just have to remember where it was and run a custom clean for it after it’s finished.
