Unbelievably amazing
This thing just works. I have three babies. I use it multiple times a day to vacuum and mop the entire house. My life is transformed. Amazing engineering, software interface, everything.

This being my first vacuum cleaner, I was hopeful of what it claims it can do. After a little over a couple of months, I don’t regret buying this whatsoever. In fact, my friends and family have been thinking of getting one after hearing me talk about how good vacuum cleaner works and how easy it is to use the app. The company’s commitment to data privacy, the updates to fine tune the robot, its ability to navigate my place, and the overall maintenance were some of the main drivers toward buying this. Also, I love how the app team will throw some cool teasers and features into the app (ex. Have the robot draw stars during July 4th and have animated fireworks go off while it drew).

Magic nailed it. Unlike competitors who release a redesign every year, improving on the previous model. Matic got it right from the very start!
Wonderfully engineered
No notes, this has to be one of the most smart and intuitive home cleaning products you can buy. The app is miles ahead of its competitors, from Shark, Dreame, and Roborock. Very easy to use and manage home mapping, schedules, and cleaning. Thank you to the Matic team for all of the hard work on this, it has become such a wonderful product for my home and the app is a joy to use.

Great product, but…
The actual Matic vacuum/mopping bot is great does a great job and my floors are immaculate. However, this app appears to be a huge resource hog. Not only does it use a for bit of memory but I is a HUGE drain on battery of my iPhone 16. Just opening for 5 or less minutes results in a huge temp spike on my phone and at least a 15% depletion of battery.

Frictionless. Absolutely LOVE the App interface with Matic Robot
The live view is the sleeper feature. Watching the robot navigate around our three dogs and their toys while I’m out of the house is genuinely entertaining, and the whole experience is smooth and instant.
The robot itself matches the app: it rolled out of its shipping box and greeted our family by name, it’s quiet enough that our dogs are curious instead of scared, and it’s the first robot vacuum I’ve owned that feels like a true robot rather than a vacuum with sensors. Seamless from unboxing to daily use. Outstanding work, Matic team.

This robot is the best of all
I picked up a Matic about a month ago and I can’t recommend this enough. After trying almost all the Chinese robots (which is most of them that copied roomba), this is the only robot vacuum that can handle my four dogs and very dirty life.
I don’t know how more people aren’t using this product yet, it’s absolutely fantastic.

THE *BEST* YOU CAN GET
Matic is amazing. The robot and the company. Matic is cleaning in places and in ways no other robot has been able to before. It’s the most thorough clean I’ve ever had from a robovac, it never gets stuck, maintenance is brilliantly easy, and the whole thing gets better every day/week/month. Matic support is absolutely top notch too.

Love the product, but the app could use some improvement
App has some performance issues, like sometimes when scrolling the settings page it’s just drops to ~15fps (on iOS26.5, 17ProMax). Other than that it’d be nice to have the ability to have routine presets u can run on-demand with 1 click for custom cleans without having to draw every time or schedule them. And for no-go zones it’d be useful to be able to select recognized areas such as carpets instead of having to carefully outline. It would also be nice if it came back to missed spots at least with the deep clean setting, since it shows them on the map as it’s cleaning, sometimes it misses the middle of its turn around radius but it’s an unobstructed spot and I just have to remember where it was and run a custom clean for it after it’s finished.

Matic unusable
I really appreciate the service from this company generally. I sent the Matic in for a fix once, and they handled it very well. But my Matic has been unusable for weeks from the app. It constantly says “reloading”, and I can’t direct it at all via the app. Before that, it was disconnecting consistently. I reached out about this but haven’t heard anything yet. I really want to support this product, but my robot vacuum has been unusable for a while now.

So the robot itself is incredible, and I recommend it to everyone, but honestly, the quality of their software has me even more mind blown than their robot. From the on boarding through the way each feature is so thoughtfully implemented, it is just incredibly carefully crafted. I'm an extremely happy customer. Thank you to the Matic team.

Matic Robot Vacuum
I say how much I love this little robot everyday. We have highly trafficked floors with a large family, 4,000 sq ft, 2 levels, and multiple pets and it keeps the floors looking great! It is nice not to have to watch it constantly for fear of it getting stuck or tangled up in something. I have used this little robot daily and asked a lot of it, and it has performed exceptionally, exceeding all expectations. The app is very functional, easy to understand, and makes my life easier. I cannot recommend enough!

Possible improvements
The app pushes annoying marketing messages (Valentines has nada to do with vacuuming!).
Also, it automatically moves the device’s WiFi connection to the one you’re phone using. No keeping IoT devices in their own network (poor design).

Annoying promotional notifications
If I pay this much for a vacuum, I should be able to turn on iOS notifications and not have the company send out annoying promotions every month or so
