About

What is everything made of? MatterScope lets you start with something familiar — an element or a molecule — and fall inwards to see what it's really built from. Molecule to atom to nucleus to proton to quark, in interactive 3D, all the way down to the smallest things we can measure. Tap any part of a model to go deeper, and rotate everything in 3D. FEATURES • Interactive 3D models of molecules, atoms, nuclei, protons/neutrons and elementary particles — drag to rotate, tap to drill in. • The full periodic table — all 118 elements, with properties, electron configurations and categories. • Elements Evolving — an auto-playing 3D tour that builds the atom up shell by shell, from hydrogen to oganesson. • Familiar molecules — water, caffeine, glucose and more, with live molecular weights. • The Standard Model of particle physics, explained in plain language. • Scale of Matter — see how far it really is from an atom down to a quark. HONEST BY DESIGN Many pictures in science are simplifications. MatterScope always labels what you're seeing — established fact, simplified model, active research, or speculative theory — so you know how firmly each idea is understood. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No analytics. No tracking. No ads. MatterScope requests no permissions and works fully offline, in Airplane Mode. Nothing you tap ever leaves your device. Made for the curious — students, teachers, and anyone who's ever wondered what things are really made of.
