Greedy Corp
I have loved my MaxiClimber and it's free app. It was incredibly refreshing to purchase an item that came with a free app. Loved the audio workouts and challenge, it was easy to use and I used it often. Now it's only subscription based with fees? I'd planned on upgrading my machine to the higher end version, but not anymore. Due to phone storage issues, I offloaded the app and res installed it a few hours later. Imagine my shock when the new app mandated a subscription with a monthly fee. Plus a bunch of new features that nobody wants. The old audi app was awesome. I'm not getting the subscription and won't be buying anything else from this company. Customer service also blows. One response on IG and then crickets.

What happened to the original app that came with the machine. I have a new phone and I can’t download the old app.
A good way to drive away customers
Pathetic money grab. Old app was free and a great benefit to the MaxiClimber community. This app is everything bad rolled into a ball of greed. I Won’t be able to recommend MaxiClimbers like I used to because they have lost all integrity. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a free app to boost the community and excitement but now greed has taken over. I can’t even explain how ridiculous it is.

Greed wins again
Used to be a great app until they re-did everything and made you sign up for a subscription and pay for everything. The old workouts were great and never changed.
Unhappy with new app
Was happier with the free version and audio classes. Developers should check with the people actively using the app before making changes. I have two climbers and a squat machine. What a waste.
Lost the best features of the free version
It refuses to send data to my Apple health app. The other didn’t either, but it gave me my stats and estimated calories burned so I could add them manually. This one doesn’t. It doesn’t recognize my Hume band. ItSEES it, but won’t connect with it. The workouts don’t include a proper warm up or cool down (fine for experienced folks, TERRIBLE for newbies) and it doesn’t track my progress within the app. For $15 a month, DO BETTER.

Only subscription now?
Used to love this app and workout. Have 2 MaxiClimbers as well as a MaxiSquatter. Tried to open my app today, and wouldn’t let me sign in. Apparently that app is going away (again?) and to access the workouts now - it’s subscription only? I am so disappointed. If this is the case, won’t recommend this anymore. If it’s NOT, then I wish someone would actually help me sign in because it ain’t happening on my end. I have an iPhone 16 Pro.

Bad app development
The app used to be free and worked perfectly. I’m trying to register on this new app and it won’t let me scroll down to the “Submit” button. Therefore, i either have to pay for a subscription now or go find videos on YouTube. Very disappointed.

Should have a free version
The app does not allow a free way to sync Apple Watch nor have a tracker for your workouts. I’m disappointed. Spent a lot of money on the machine and I have to track my steps as a stair stepper
