It’s amazing
Nothing else like it (or the Mutant app) a bit like learning a new language, a bit like a living thing… perfect use of iPad touch and interaction.
Unintuitive and confusing
I use a lot of different music production and creation apps and systems. I love the idea behind this app, but it is so complex and confusing that I was stumped for the first 2 hours I spent trying to figure out how to much make some sounds!
I was totally lost most of the time, even after reading the whole guide. The guide is almost useless. While it contains a lot of information about what each feature does, it never really tells you how to start from the beginning, what to tap and where.
With almost every screen there are things that appear to be something you can or should tap or drag around but nothing happens. Then other things on the screen suddenly spring to life, but you don’t know why and what it actually does. What it most needs is a getting-started section that says: do this, then that.

Worth the investment
This is a deep and ingenious audiovisual ecosystem and for that reason it really cries out for a proper manual. But if you invest the time, the in-app guide and help files will reveal a whole new way of (literally) looking at music.

Big ups to the developers U MADE IT HAPPEN!, Audiobus in effect, beautiful changes to the workflow.. so psyched this was sitting on my back burner fo ages, understanding the beauty of it but unable, for a number of reason, to incorporate it into my workflow. NOW it’s never coming off my pad. MUTANT is killer too, especially now, with its integration as well, a must buy. Screw ur wig on tight this thing gonna knock ur socks off. a work of Art. Congrats and well done to the team that made this happen

Really excellent creation tool, however….
I really enjoy the creative possibilities that this app presents, the interface is lovely(the new Hyperface stuff is excellent)and it sounds great…but the developers really need to make this an AU(or IAA) so we can use it in AUM and Cabasis etc. and they need to make it easy to import our own samples into the app. 5 stars if they add this stuff.

Great idea, needs polishing.
The idea and execution is certainly worth a mention. Except the app is not very responsive, crashes a lot and no sound comes through any Bluetooth device. It also needs a better tutorial. Unfortunately, I will have to ask for a refund. I’m on iPad Air 3.

Just started exploring this unique instrument. Very creative and mind expanding experience. I will give it 5 stars once I can use it inside of AUM.

No Bluetooth support?
I thought I was a high level user but clearly not.
No sound if you mute your device - okay, I get you.
Now I come to use this with Bluetooth connection and the sound drops again? Happy to be shown that I am clueless.

Very amazing app but...
It’s very amazing app, beautiful visuals - really like it.
But there’s two points that make me sad :
- there’s no way to show these beautiful visuals on the external display without showing all the iPad screen menus (iPad Pro + iOS12). So you can’t use it for the live show purposes (like in the YouTube demos). That’s really bad...
- there’s no way ty sync the app with midi sync. Not good either...
Maybe in next update... what do you think Misters Developpers?

Music for the Space Age
Great visuals, inspiring framework for creative research but no AUv3 or IAA unfortunately. Can‘t use it in live settings yet, so please keep up your great work. 5 stars then...

Abstract Alien Spacecraft Joyriding!
The more I explore... the more I finally figure out how stuff works... and the more info I get from other users... the more I really love this app.
It’s never cut and dried clearcut like a legacy tool you might be familiar with... but once you figure out the ignition switch, where the gas pedal is, and how to shift gears... taking this alien 👽 spacecraft out for abstract joyrides can be a rewarding stellar hoot. :)
I think the reason most of the videos sound similar is that there’s only one dude (the dev) posting them, and that’s his style. A lot of the default settings are also set up to sound like what you see/hear in the videos. Once you start clearing the face panels and starting from scratch, as well as loading up your own samples... you can get VERY interesting and varying stuff from it.
It’s definitely not for everyone, but for those who dig flying like ya stole it on alien spacecraft joyrides to abstract destinations unknown... its worth the initial frustration of trying to figure out how to hotwire the dang thing. ;)

Great music creation environment
This app has excellent features and makes great musical ambiance (and is visually great). Only one thing that bugs; there’s no inter-app abilities, so it cannot be integrated directly in your music production. That would be the fifth star.

Brilliant innovative strange
Hails to Scriabin composer who would be proud you implemented the color piano. This is the most interesting app with lofty art style and huge sonic rewards for the “strange” interface. So as a beginner with 2 days I love it but just needs a manual and tips and tricks type thing. The drum machine makes sense yet the grids and color piano confuse me although I am programming them with ‘magnetic effect. This is a space age futuristically complex, personal composition, feeling machine of sound vibrations turned into emotions of the soul. Cheers
