Do not trust McAfee
I just got a potential fraud alert from my credit card company for $164.28. McAfee attempted to renew my subscription yet they had my old card number but still managed to get a hold of my new card information, weird. My subscription I paid almost a year ago now was for $31.79, so tell me how it's now triple that.. No where does it state my renewal will be that more expensive. Very sketchy business practice and I will in fact not be renewing my subscription.
Edit to add: When I originally signed up, I knew the 31.79 was a discounted price, but it did also say the original price would be $80 per year...not $164.28.

VPN continually disconnects
I paid the premium price for this app and it’s not worth paying for. The VPN continually disconnects on its own and you cannot access secure sites outside the USA when traveling. Mcafee was known at one time as a great web security solution, but not now. I do not recommend this app and actually disappointed there has been no upgrades or patches to correct the issues.

I use McAfee on my desk top, and now on my iPhone version 12. EXCELLENT PROTECTION! Should have done it earlier. Thank you Ceaser from the tech services center!

Apply for subscription fee when I’ve never renewed. I stopped subscribing to them in 2024 and it’s now 2026. Who gives them the right to keep my data for over two years and then have the gall to send a request for payment?????

This App, was purchased to replace paid AVG antivirus. Unfortunately it is as intrusive as AVG with App tracking and personal information collection capabilities from your name, location, to biometrics information, to your contacts.
In addition allows others such as “Google” to track and access your information regardless of (OS) Operation Systems (iOS, Android, or Windows).
This App is truly example of Surveillance Capitalism at its best. Apparently anything goes under claim of Capitalism.

Pricing Mcafee
It clearly says a basic, no frills is free. The only choices cost. I already have Mcafee Multiple unit plan which covers more than one unit and literature says cell phone is no additional cost. Why isn’t that an option on the selection screen? I trusted Mcafee? Losing The Faith!
Unable to access
I recently updated this on my iPad but now I am unable to even access it. Constant notifications to finish setting up but it is impossible to move past the 1st screen or even log into my account. Very disappointed with this especially since I use McAfee products on multiple devices and have for a long time.
