Yet another product prioritizing subscription payment rather than QOL updates
The apps user interface is honestly the worst I’ve ever dealt with. This is no exaggeration. The app seems like it was coded by someone with absolutely zero experience. It’s incredibly buggy, nothing is intuitive, and over half of the application doesn’t even work properly. Do not purchase this product! Very disappointing. Applications shouldn’t be allowed to accept money until they are tested and verified “ready to use” first.

I wish i never bought my altima with this
The app recently received a new update for the 2.0 and the new update caused the wifi connection to no longer function on the iphone. Unfortunately, i cannot adjust the camera and no longer access it via phone, the only way to see any footage now is by removing the sd card and plugging it into the computer. Please fix this! The fact that the phone cant even see the app trying to use a local network is dreadful!

The worst
I spent almost 1600 at the dealer for the camera and the app won’t work, I reached out to the developer and nothing, I have another appointment (3rd) at the dealer to either get this sorted out or removed an my money back this is horrible , I can get a better app and camera at Costco never doing this again

I can’t believe Nissan partnered with this product. The app is terrible. The quality of the recording is inferior. Between the cost of the equipment and installation I’m out over $1000. I’ve just received a message from the app saying that if I don’t accept their new terms, the Apple will no longer function. Logging in is ridiculously difficult. I’m thoroughly disgusted. My advice is to use an aftermarket product. I’m also angry that there is no website for this company where one can get Assistance. It’s absolutely pathetic.

Dash cam keeps disconnecting can’t get it to work right. Nissan doesn’t even k ow how it works. And it constantly beeps. No one at Nissan can tell you how to operate this

This app has not been updated in 3 years I spent $1200 to have this installed by Nissan because it’s on the Nissan original parts website and it’s TRASH!
Can not connect to any videos on the cloud unless you are sitting in the vehicle with it turned on and connected to WIFI (WORTHLESS). If the vehicle is stolen or you’re in a horrible accident and can’t reach the cameras SD card you are basically screwed.

Don’t bother
I am deeply disappointed that it has taken so many Sewell Infiniti reps to help me with this app and STILL unable to connect it with the dash cam. Do not purchase this product and expect a smooth app upload/connection. Just save yourself the headache and purchase another product.

Waste of money
Bought this dashcam as an add-on when purchasing a brand new Pathfinder. It’s the only dashcam offered from Nissan. The app is absolute garbage. Total waste of money. I wish I’d bought a dashcam elsewhere and had it installed instead.

I have never been able connect to the dash cam for more than 10 to 15 seconds with direct wifi that is built in, and have never connected via the cloud. This was a waist of $500! I have better luck with a $25 one off amazon

Works as designed.
This app works fine. I needed to reset the drive camera a few times, for my iPhone to discover the WiFi network. Once connected, change the password right a way. I had to turn my home WiFi router to 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz for the camera to connect the first time, but after that it connects fine. I can also manually take out the micro SD card and view the files on my computer/iPad/iPhone with a card reader. Really handy. So far, So good. I guess it helps to be a little bit of a tech head, but isn’t that part of owning technology?

Worst dash cam
Nissan sells this dash cam and recommends it but you get no support from Nissan and it has too many issues and problems. Do not buy this product there’s many options of other bash cams less cost and app supports product.

App doesn’t let you subscribe to cloud service so you will never connect to the cloud. Developers are non existent, when you go to the website it’s in Korean and when you translate there is no drivecam support available. Very disappointing

Hey there! If you’re having trouble finding the “Device ID and Security Key,” it’s actually on the device itself before you attach it. Plus, there are two clips on the side that slide down to reveal those details. Just a heads-up: please don’t copy and paste the “Device ID.” Instead, snap a picture of the details and highlight the QR code on the device, then copy and paste that into the app. And don’t forget to copy and paste the “Security key.” Thank me later!

I’ve made multiple trips to the dealership and had several people try to get this thing working, and it still doesn’t. The only way to see video is by pulling the SD card and plugging it into a computer. The app is useless — it won’t connect to the cloud or show recordings. For the ridiculous price, this is absolute junk. I’ve wasted hours of my life on this garbage and regret ever buying it.

Very Frustrating
The app will only connect to the camera for about 10 seconds and then disconnects. On the rare occasion it does connect it gives an invalid token error when you try to do anything. My dash cam is an expensive paper weight at this point.
Total Junk
Bought the camera kit from Nissan for an Infiniti QX60. Cannot get registered for the MDRIVE app cloud access. It will not accept the information from the back of the unit and nobody knows what to do with it. Big waste of time if you want cloud storage.
Do not buy this
With a brand new unit, try to connect to its Wi-Fi with the code printed on the unit, it just does not work.
