About

Meah Brachot keeps the count for you — a hundred brachot a day, counted, not guessed. Shaḥarit, Minḥa, Arvit and a bread meal each log with one tap. Everything else you count as you say it: birkot hanehenin, brachot aḥaronot, besamim, birkot hamitzvot, brachot on thunder, lightning and a rainbow. The ring fills toward a hundred. Nothing is assumed — only what you said is counted. THE DAY RUNS BY THE ZMANIM The day turns over at tzet, not at midnight, for wherever you are. Arvit after tzet counts toward the new day. Davened Minḥa late, or bentched after dark? The day that just ended stays open until ḥatzot halayla, so it goes where it belongs. Netz, sof zman Kriat Shema, sof zman tefilla, ḥatzot, plag, shkiya and tzet are all computed on the phone, and follow you when you travel. REMINDERS AT THE ZMANIM THAT MATTER Every reminder is tied to the day's actual zmanim and has its own switch: sof zman Kriat Shema, sof zman Birkot Kriat Shema, Shaḥarit before ḥatzot, Minḥa before tzet, Arvit before ḥatzot halayla — and, if you want it, a check on your count before tzet when you're close to a hundred. A reminder fires only for a tefilla you haven't logged. Nothing fires on Shabbat or Yom Tov; motza'ei Shabbat and Yom Tov, one reminder to log Friday's Minḥa, erev Yom Tov, and that night's Arvit. STREAKS Turn on Streak mode to count consecutive days of a hundred. A flame once today is done, an hourglass while today still owes it, one warning before tzet. Shabbat and Yom Tov never break a streak. Off by default. THE TEXTS Every bracha opens to its full text, with the English under each word, in your nusach: Edut HaMizraḥ, Sefard or Ashkenaz. Al HaMiḥya composes itself from what you ate, and shows Retze, Ya'ale VeYavo and the festival insertions only on their day. ROSH ḤODESH AND YOM TOV Mussaf and Hallel appear on Rosh Ḥodesh, Ḥol HaMo'ed and Yom Tov; on Sukkot, netilat lulav and leshev basukkah. Each shows only on the days it is said, with the right number of brachot — seven for Mussaf, nine on Rosh Hashana. FOR WOMEN The women's count is its own, and follows the Sephardi psak that Ein Kelokeinu covers meah brachot b'dieved — shown as such, with the sources and the maḥloket cited in the app. MEKOROT The sugya from the Gemara through the Rambam, Tur, Shulḥan Aruch and the poskim of our day is cited inside the app, so you can see where each din comes from. As always, ask your rav. NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS No sign-in, no name. Your location stays on the phone; the app reports only anonymous usage statistics, described in the privacy policy. In English and Hebrew.
