Worst meat thermometer
Awful product with matching customer service. Try and contact customer support about their products, I dare you. It’s non-existent. I’ve tried emails, live chat and telephone. Worst company I’ve encountered. Product does not work. Waste of money. Avoid.
Regularly Drops Connect
After over a year of use, my MEATER Pro constantly looses connection within the last (most crucial) 10 minutes of the cook. Happens when using a broiling pan or my cast iron. Temperature makes no difference, I’ve tried temps from 300 to 425.
It was one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. Guess I won’t be giving my ThermoPro away anytime soon.

The perfect steak
Temps are dead on every time
Poor connection
Had for 3 years, ambient temperature stopped working after 1. MEATER said it was my oven that was at 56c. Now disconnects every 5 minutes and has swiftly entered the bin

Too many connectivity issues to outweigh the benefits. When it’s good, it’s good. I’m done with it.

It states that there is a decent distance you can go and still keep connection. That is not really accurate I have to be within a foot of the temperature gauge or it won’t work
One main issue
Non dismissible over temp warning is obnoxious. I can’t tell if my steak is done to remove it from the heat that is too high. I get the intent, but making it not dismissible ruins the utility.
Horrible connections
The probes always lose connection, the block is literally outside the grill next to them. Can’t get any closer. I don’t recommend

So far the thermometer has worked relatively well.
The only complaint I would have is that it loses connection on a regular basis..
Sometimes it restores it itself sometimes I have to reset it.
Besides that, I love the freedom of having wireless and the fact that I can put something on the smoker or grill and go inside while the app on my phone keeps me updated on progress.

Won’t stay connected
Disconnects mid cook despite following directions to keep the base close to the probe. Works sometimes but about half the time it won’t connect at all or disconnects mid cook. I thought it was a low battery at first but all instructions and tips have been followed, still no luck.
WiFi difficult
There should be a one click solution to changing WiFi on these. With current system in place I’m tied to my home network

Not durable
Worked great for a short period. Connectivity issues between probe and charging station. Premium price, subpar product. Probe will not connect to charging station when 3’ away or 3” away. Even with nothing between them.

Bad connection and wrong data
It always says the battery is low and connecting to Bluetooth takes upwards of 30 minutes every time I use it.

Since I’ve owned this thing, I’ve never had all 4 probes able to connect. Horrible waste of money.
