DO NOT USE!!!

This app gives loads of incorrect information that it should absolutely have no excuse for doing. After wasting several hours, I ended up using the free version of Gemini and did not receive ANY inaccurate information. I’m not being dramatic it’s literally that bad. You’ve been warned!

Response from developer

Thank you for the honest warning, and we're sorry it cost you hours. Wrong answers are the most serious problem we can have. If you're willing, email support@mechai.app with your vehicle and the questions you asked. We review accuracy reports against the exact vehicle and use them to fix the cause. — The MECH AI Team

I am a senior woman and this app helps me repair my car! Thanks guys!

Response from developer

Thank you! Hearing that MECH AI helps you work on your own car is exactly why we build it. Happy wrenching! — The MECH AI Team

Printing

Would be better if you could print it out
RPRocky Point

Response from developer

Fair ask, and you're right: there's no clean print or PDF export for guides yet. It's on our list, and reviews like this decide the order we build things. If you email support@mechai.app with the screen you wanted to print, I'll make sure that one ships first. — Alex, MECH AI

5 Free messages

5 free messages daily then you have to pay more corporate greed slop, messes up most of the common issues anyway absolutely trash.
KKayner98

Response from developer

You're right that the free tier is limited: every AI answer costs us real money, and 5 a day is what we can give away sustainably. Where I'd push back is 'wrong on most common issues': if it got your vehicle wrong, email support@mechai.app with the car and the question and I'll review the exact answers myself, fix what's wrong, and add a free month of DIY so you can judge it properly. — Alex, MECH AI

Dismal!

Dismal failure unfortunately! I had high hopes for this app but even if signing up presents major issues then what other problems will emerge? Sorry but it’s a no from me. 😬
