Because this is a new account, the only thing that I can positively comment on the wonderful staff that you have working at the Mechanics Bank in Seaside California. Theywerevhelpful.
The worst!
The worst banking app EVER!!!! Every time I sign in I get a notice saying my session has expired. Because of that I am unable to log in. I’ve been a customer since Kaiser Federal and now this horrible bank took over and it’s the worst. I’ll be closing my account for sure!
Not a happy camper
Mechanics bank took over HomeStreet Bank. You’ve made it more complicated for people to sign into their account on a laptop or computer I went into one of the branches to get help with this, and he spoke down to me and seemed hostile. I may be an older woman, but I’ve been using online banking since he was in kindergarten. He was the exact opposite of a friendly employee. Today I was talking to Xfinity on the phone trying to set up auto pay through my debit card and my debit card wouldn’t work. I am planning to take all my money out of mechanics bank to put into BECU where customers come first like they did when yours was HomeStreet Bank.

This app looks like it’s from the 90’s. It’s slow and lags / gets frozen often.

The new app is terrible! The older version worked so much better. The new one took me two days to get access to my accounts .. why???
Its now quicker for me to go straight
to Mechanics website for my online banking. What is the point of an app if the thing doesn’t work? Once again - today I tried to access my accounts but NOOO! And once again it doesn’t recognise me!!! It’s a constant hassle. Come on! If you design an app make it work for the consumer.., maybe go back to your older version … at least it worked reliably.

Easy to use, handy for multiple tasks.
Products should be made easier to use.
I am 88 years old and have always done my own banking. Since you changed to Mechanics Bank I have had nothing but problems. I am thinking about changing to another bank. I am tired of having to go into the bank to get it straightened out. Another thing I don’t understand your two different balances. No other banks I have used have never had two different balances.

Layout not senior friendly
The numbers are too small. Hard to read in the app. Pls improve!
Worst app ever.
Zelle doesn’t work for person who pays me every month. Went to the bank to inquire about and they sad nothing changed, it should work . Well it doesn’t!app is difficult to navigate. I’m researching other banks to use.
Needs a simpler and more user friendly design
Could you please come up with a better design? It’s hard to navigate, and the overall design feels unnecessarily complicated for basic banking tasks. Simple things that should take a few taps end up being frustrating to find. I am a member of couple of local credit unions, and their apps are smooth, intuitive and much easier to use. Compared to those, this app feels outdated and over engineered. I hope the app gets a redesign focused on simplicity and user experience.

The system at Best is glitchy every time you have an update I have to reset my password. Your system is too glitchy and very cumbersome.
HomeStreet Bank app was much better
This terrible app and awful customer support led me to a new bank. I can’t believe HomeStreet sold out to such a lousy company.
Fix!!!
Horrible!!!! I NEVER EVER had a problem with Homestreet Mobile Banking! I downladed Mechanics Bank Mobile Plus and have had to call 2 times already to let me get access to my own account. It keeps telling me I may have been restricted from my account or entered wrong password ughhhh! Fix this issue!!!!!!
