Creme de la Creme

Como un intérprete médico es muy importante tener herramientas cómo está a mano! 10/10 ojalá pudiera agregar opción de traducción con hacer 2 click sobre el nombre de la medicina!

Knowledge is power

I always ask the doctor the what, why and wherefores of any prescribed drug, and the expected or anticipated results. Then I consult the appropriate Farlex references regarding medicine, medical and nursing information. At 73, it’s better to be fully informed than unpleasantly surprised. It’s not about trust (although if there’s reason for doubt, switch doc’s!) but informed decision making.

WELL DONE

I have had this app on my iPhone for about a month or so, and it’s proven to be an effective tool for understanding the purposes of the post-procedure medications that my surgeon and doctor want me to take while recovering.
It’s extremely helpful and easy to use, though speaking as academic I might add that it appears to be designed more for professionals and perhaps college students attending med school- judging by the terminology and UI. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Lots of Missing medication

Don’t waste your money

Not very helpful.

Cannot find half of the medication that I've been prescribed!

Handy

How can this app not be helpful? Hey, if you’re out and about, like if you’re at the doctor’s office and he or she or someone writes a prescription for you to take, and you don’t have access to the information about the prescription, this app might just have what you are looking for. Now I call that helpful !

I’m looking for how much a post menopausal woman age 55 should take. She has already had one clean thru fracture of her distal tibia tibia.

Great resource

Love the drug-herb interaction and the diagnostic test section. This has all the info about a drug down to the pronunciation aid. Highly recommend for students and professionals alike.

Nursing student friendly !

Nursing student approves

😀

Great app, especially being a new nurse and hearing drugs I have never heard or have heard of them mention throughout school once and having the availability to search a med quick when you are unsure of the purpose is nice. Thank you!

Medicine dictionary

It would’ve been even better if I could see pictures of pill capsules etc to know what’s what when I’m trying to identify drugs like the BMA guide shows.
Still happy with the app.
