Great platform for new writers
Have been placing writings on Facebook and rarely hear any responses, really happy that medium offers people just starting to write, a means to reach people. Thank you for a great opportunity.
Doesn’t work correctly
Every time you open the app, it gives an error saying something about purchases basically giving some sort of error. Message reached out to customer support no response that the app is pretty much just broken that it keeps giving an error saying memberships or purchases on available or something content not available.

Unable to read novels
Hi I just downloaded this app to read a specific novel via Novel7sofficial. I can read the 1st chapter ok. But can’t read further. I have signed up and paid for my subscription. Everytime I try to get the next chapter, I’m either diverted to a gambling site or to another site where they want me to download an app to supposedly unlock the chapter

Medium is beginner friendly
I just did my first publication. I like it so far, it is affordable and it’s worth it if your looking to start a blogging business for beginners.
Mediocre at best.
Was there any real thought put into this app? It’s supposed to be for reading, but there are no real settings for font size or anything else.

I love Medium!
Medium has changed my life. I have easy access to a blog platform and I receive emails with lovely informative articles. I love it.
Too focussed
I like the premise of medium and enjoy the user written articles etc. before subscribing, most of the content I read was random, from whatever search id done, and it covered a vast array of topics.
I find the app too narrow in its focus and which there was a home page of sorts - so not just top articles for the topics you ticket (keep that as a seperate ‘for you’ page) - but newest or most interacted w articles across all topics. With the app, I don’t know what I don’t know so I don’t feel like it’s adding the breadth of value I want.

Disappointing
Within the last several months the app has become frustrating. I never had to login as frequently as I have recently. Roughly every third link that I open from my email or a web search in the app forces me to log in again. Please fix it so I log in once and only once.
Fix It
Please fix the kicking me out to then relogin bug 🐜. I’ve paid for the subscription, i am who i say i am, im a developer and this for sure is horrible UX!!! Either fix it or this is my last year getting the subscription.
All topics I’m tuff to find information that covers all topics of my interests!

Spam Calls
I downloaded the app and set up my account which forces you to add your phone number. A day later I received several spam calls from India purporting to be from Sky. Medium are obviously passing you phone number on which is bang out of order. I was getting no spam calls before this. I have now deleted my account.

Login every time you open the app
Medium used to be awesome but now every time I open the app I need to login. Not even quick Face ID or a pin but fully login with an email code, why? It’s easier and quickly to get into my banking apps then Medium.
I’m done, after years of subscribing I’m not renewing mainly due to the hassle of gaining access to content.
