Update ruined it
This app was so much better before the update. Now it just makes no sense, and it’s very unorganized and confusing. You can’t even narrow the search to find events or people in your area any longer. So disappointing. Will delete soon
Unfortunate
This app used to be amazing! It was my go to resource for researching a hospital before accepting an assignment. Where are the reviews!? I met so many travelers from it over the years and it’s a shame the direction it went. The authenticity is gone, must’ve been been bought out by an agency…. 😭

Why would you do that
Your site went from being a moderately effective way of meeting fellow travelers and connecting with people to little more than selling shoes. Not only is the overall functionality bad, the app itself is damaged and unusable.
How do you meet people on this?
So, is this a shopping app now? Or is this a travel agency App? I thought this name was to connect travel healthcare workers together…all these events look like they are forced by influencers and/or corporate interests. So sad.
Hate the update
The whole point of this app for me was to find travelers in the area to make friends with. They got rid of that tab where you could change your location to where you’re at and to see what people are posting in your area and to see the events in your area. I feel like I’m on another job app, which is not what I wanted this for. I’ve been able to make so many friends off of this in the last couple years and I don’t think I’ll be able to now.

Can’t log in
Their app requires phone verification code as the very first thing to do to sign up. My phone doesn’t allow automated push texts so I can’t get a verification code sent to me. They need to add additional ways to receive a verification code such as email or receiving a phone call rather than automated texts.

Awesome idea, app needs detail work
It’s amazing that this app exists now, but I still end up on bumble Bff to find individual fitness, and bumble for dating because of the filtering you can do by distance. It’d be awesome if you could actually search for people within a few miles or 20, but the app automatically shows you people that are 50+ miles away, which works for big adventure planning, but to find friends you can hang with on a regular basis, a smaller radius is needed. I also wish you could search by what activities people want to do, and that woolen could write a short bit about what they want to do or what they’re most interested in getting into in their area.

People who rated this a 1 star (LadyJdub, zach9002, Ella Bella, MorganOmitt) are all boomers and probably use a palm pilot as a phone. This is the best app to connect travelers! Highly recommend!

Does not work
I have emailed and tried to sign up for weeks with every possible option. Deleted and re-downloaded app, cleared cache, literally everything. They really need to make an option to sign up online.

Life changing!
This app changed my life for the better! I used to hate travel nursing and wanted to retire from it. It was so hard if not impossible to meet people at each contract especially travelers that shared in my interests.
Then I found out about MedVenture! I started using it September 2021 and have loved it ever since, meeting so many new friends along the way. Now I have a newfound love for this lifestyle and have decided to stick with it for years to come all thanks to this amazing social app!

Life changing app
Downloaded this app a while back before I started traveling. I didn’t pay it much mind until my second assignment and I have literally met the greatest souls because of the app. We even keep in touch to this day. Wish more travelers knew about the app because traveling doesn’t have to be lonely anymore !
