I’m new to the app and attended my first event. Even though it was raining and miserable OUTSIDE, we had a great time joking, laughing and having a good time INSIDE. I met some nice people who are now on a group chat. After being burned so badly from dating app after dating app, it’s fun to reconnect with men and women as friends. Plus a great way to socialize and learn new things or experience new activities that you would t normally do!!

Fraîchement toulousaine et ne connaissant ni la région ni les habitants, j’ai opportunément découvert Meet5 qui propose à la fois des rencontres de vrai gens par le biais de sorties dans divers lieux et endroits permettant de jolies découvertes.
Une première expérience très agréable m’a d’ores et déjà encouragée à m’inscrire à plusieurs autres activités dans les prochains jours et mois.

Excellent Way To Meet People
Went to my first activity and enjoyed it. People were very pleasant and funny and welcoming. This app makes it easy.
Needs help!
App continues to show profiles of deactivated users, people that you CAN’T reach. WHY don’t they REMOVE them??? Why does the developer keep showing them and WASTE user time?? Deactivated users should be removed IMMEDIATELY - keep it TIDY! Please!
Organized an event to enjoy a free local concert and had NO shows. Guessing being a European app they just have an audience/users in San Francisco?
Weirdly, my event is no longer visible, but other past events are. Why???
They claim it’s focused towards “activities” and isn’t a dating app, but there’s no way to organize/search clubs/groups by shared interest, such as MTB, hiking…
If you set filters by age, and event type, “apply”, then it annoyingly forgets the next time you come back. Why I does it have to annoy?
Meetup and Facebook are sadly still dominant. Meet5 UI/UX engineers need to step up their game - see why the other became popular and remain popular, AND have users that can find and go to events.

Great social app
This app is great. I joined only wanting the social events and to make friends. You may have to get through the people who use it as a dating site but so far everyone has been very respectful and I have absolutely lived the events planned. I have even planned my own event and am looking for many more in the future.

I have been to 4 of the Meer 5 events so far and I love it. You have to go and be open to the process. It is very organic. It’s simply good ppl getting out and talking while doing the activity, it’s great.
