I had a very disappointing experience with Mega. The service was unreliable, and I ran into repeated issues that made it frustrating to use. Customer support was slow to respond and didn’t provide helpful solutions. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

One of the best cloud storage options
Very generous, free cloud storage. Emphasis on data security.
Two things that I wish would be addressed, but are minor negatives: (a) there is no in-built editor, so make sure any media is how you want it before you upload, and (b) the codec support is not the greatest, so certain videos will not play without re-downloading them locally onto your machine.

App has become unusable!
This app used to be very good, but has now become unusable ever since a ridiculous transfer quota has been added to existing accounts! This app is only good for those who have lots of money and don’t mind rates that grow exponentially without warning!

My account got terminated for no reason and I lost alot of my files. Not cool

Distressing adverts
The app is fine and a great way to get videos and photos into your camera roll, but one thing. When I downloaded a scene pack today a distressing advert can up at the bottom and I clicked on it because it was sticking out to me and it took me to a memory wiper website saying I’ve downloaded a virus and my SIM card will be corrupted. I know it was only an advert and there were no real viruses but I find that a really bad thing of you to do as someone is downloading something to put out an advert like that. The advert was a flashing red dot signing that something is urgent. I had to call someone who knows about technology to double check this. Please remove this advert as I don’t think I’m the only one that has felt distressed by this.

AMAAZINGGG!!
Now I use this app mainly to download scene packs (as I am an editor) and it works so great! It’s 1, not a virus, 2, downloads smoothly, 3, buttons are easy to find and recognise. As long as if your device isn’t laggy or anything trust me this app is THE scp app.
Buggy?
When I open the app it is stuck on connecting to server. Sometimes it gets beyond this but then I find that 90% of my folders and files are missing. The desktop app is fine but the iOS app is appalling.
Can’t airplay
Update where yall can play any vid type, also airplay please, bring airplay back
Not good for iPhone backup
Doesn’t seems to upload from photo app on phone. Tried refreshing setting, uninstalling, and restart
Best for clips
It’s the best when I need some clips for editing I just have to go to a yt Chanel which my clips and the like to this app and download it
Was once great
Locking downloads behind a paywall is beyond ridiculous. I should not have to subscribe to download more than 10 files a day!
