App decided checkout was a good time to do a log out and 2FA
Not intuitive
Kicks you out and need to log in. Never cold use the perks . The app is slow and never works when you need it. The scan and pay is a pain to use because you still need to scan the items again.
Crashes Every time!
This app crashes every time I use it. I have to close and restart the app at least 5 times every order. Moreover, it drains my phone battery like no other app ever has. Get used to the spinning wheel of death. Needs a major overhaul to be useful.
Love Meijer, hate the app
This app is horrifically glitchy and slow. Even the simplest tasks like searching for a product, and the wheel spins eternally. My god. I’m just trying to buy some cherries.
Ugh
The app works great for ordering -but you can’t check in, you can’t view substitutions and you can’t even look at all items in your older orders. I have an iPhone! Please fix this!
Glitchy, buggy, freezes
I loved this app. And now when I search for anything or unclip coupons or almost any other action, it freezes and won’t do anything. I have to force close it, and even then after I reopen it nothing works. Meijer, this app was so amazing and worked so well, please fix all of these bugs!
Please change the coupons back!!
The new layout of the coupons is awful. It's so easy to miss the "just for you" section altogether because it looks like an ad, and there is no longer an option to view the coupons organized by category, which makes it really difficult to make a shopping list from them. It would also be nice to choose if you want the coupons in the old layout where you could read the full description across the screen instead of the small boxes.

2 different cases (for same issue) opened in IT and still no resolution on 8th day.
I could not be more frustrated with your app and lack of follow through from IT department. I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out. I called 8/13/26,8/17/&20. I’ve been unable to order any fresh meat products for 3+ weeks. I was told today, my case is still open, but there is no on when this will be resolved. I have followed every direction given to me by Meijer to help resolve this issue. Yet still no information from IT department. I have been getting deliveries from Kroger.

Glitchy after update
Update to review: the shopping list is working again. Thank goodness. Now that the app is functioning I will put it to 5 star. I’ve loved this app for years and have used it a lot for the shop and scan. I love keeping the list on my phone and checking it off as I go but the latest update is not allowing me to check or remove items. I confirmed my phone is up to date with the latest IOS, removed app, restarted phone and redownloaded the app and the same issue continues. Please update this app or revert back to the old version until these issues are corrected. The actual feature of shop and scan is still working just fine it’s just the shopping list that’s not working.

Update Worse
The most recent update has made this app difficult to use. The most annoying part is that this recent update glitches on using SNAP benefits when checking out. It just doesn’t do anything (just circles/buffers for hours on end). I had to house the desktop version and only because I did not feel like re-shopping everything on another app. But I’m not going to bother using the desktop version every time from now on. I’ll just use a different app from another vendor.

App is TERRIBLE!!!!
Billions of dollars your company makes a year…. You would THINK that the app would perform!!! But just like their groceries are little to be desired as well as the company brands of Meijer and Frederick are just as bad as this app!!! I can turn my iPhone into a hand-warmer in the winter time just by opening your app AND HOPE I don’t BURN my fingers!!!! I can just imagine how much DAMAGE YOU ARE DOING TO MY $2300.00 iPhones!!!!!! This is unacceptable!!!! Ethically and morally WRONG!!!!!!! There should be a class action lawsuit against you!!!! Also someone PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THIS APP RATES 4.6 stars????????? It’s worthless, basically!!!! As is the stores!!!!

Broken shopping list
I use this app weekly and I noticed this past weekend that I could not remove items from my shopping list. This is very frustrating and was hoping the latest update would correct it but I updated the app and it is still broken. I hope it gets fixed soon
Used to work
I can no longer delete a completed item on my shopping list. Impossible to buy again. Very buggy
Worst Grocery App
I’m not at all impressed with the experience of this app. The cart has nothing to do with the shopping list, the shopping list has nothing to do with the store you are shopping in. Recently the list won’t update an item to unchecked when you uncheck it from the checked items, you can’t delete an item in the list unless you uncheck it. Seriously bad experience. Their Design team should audit the Publix app as a good grocery app example. It will arrange your list by aisle for the store you are shopping and also display on your list those items on sale. Saves a ton of time. I’m back to just creating a grocery list by category on my phone’s note app.

shopping list is broken… again
I can’t delete or add items to the shopping list feature. This is not the first time this has happened. So very likely that I’ll just shop somewhere else that has a more reliable app.
Broken again
This app always has something wrong with. Every other update breaks something. Right now the shopping list is completely non functional.

The update did nothing to fix the shopping list. Items cannot be removed
App lists
I usually love the app but sometimes my shopping list doesn’t have the delete function working. Then it’s harder to track what I have and what I still need. Minor thing but it makes a difference.
Shopping list not working
The latest version (10.71.0, released 10/17/26) and the previous one have had a flaw in the shopping list functionality. (Issue has been present for at least 5d)
You can add things to it, but cannot “check” nor delete them from the list. Tried swapping left as well as editing the count and “trashing” the item.
Have tried different iphone models, ipad, logged off/on from the app, restarted devices…. “Please try again. We weren’t able to remove this item.”
Maybe it is a plot to drive sales by making customers believe they need more things. ;-)
Generally the app is ok… hoping the issue is addressed soon.
