Gets the job done

This is the only accessible app to keep track of all collectibles in one place. My biggest complaint is that it is really difficult to reorder the collection!

Scan feature doesn’t work after paying for premium features

I don’t know if it’s a scam or if the app is just bad, but when I installed the app and started adding my collection I used the scan feature and it worked perfectly. So I purchased the premium subscription and proceeded to begin adding my collection. So far, not a single item I’ve scanned has worked since the purchase. All I get is an error saying to try again or cancel. Trying again gives the same result over and over again. It seems like a great idea, but if it doesn’t work, don’t release it as a feature and certainly don’t charge people to use it.

Want to like it, but the UI design, constant loading, paywalls, and errors make it hard to enjoy

I first saw this maybe 2 years ago when its creator posted about it on Reddit. I decided to follow along with its updates and wait for more reviews to come out, as I've seen people attempt a similar tool like this with not much success. Since there is now an iOS app, I've decided to take it for a spin.

The paywalls are quite extreme. If you're a free user, you're pretty much a second-rate citizen and limited to how much you can even do MONTHLY. Which is a massive turn off for long time collectors with bigger than a shelf's worth of a collection looking to catalogue their items. But I do understand that the creator needs to fund the database servers. There is a "mentioned" 7day free trial but no where to activate it so... (There's a button that says "start trial" but in both my and my friends' experience, it doesn't work)

My first impressions upon opening the app were... not great. The UI design reads messy and honestly needs a visual upgrade. One major issue I've noticed is that it will occasionally zoom in like a web page but stay zoomed in and I can move it around like it got stuck ? The colors used in the UI all kinda clash and feel incoherent as a whole; I would much prefer an option of all white or all dark like most modern apps. Sometimes boxes will cut off or refuse to be centered. The icons used aren't aligned properly and some touch the edges of boxes while others are centered. The bottom nav bar will occasionally detach and scroll away when you scroll. And many many many many more design flaws that are either absolutely grating or just outright aggravating.
Because of this app's purpose, a design that has a more modernized minimalistic professional feel would go a LONG way in catering to collectors with visual disabilities

The design itself seems to lack a proper identity. There's 6 whole bottom tabs for navigation; a tad bit too much for the modern era. Especially considering one tab is weirdly called "Vault" and is actually just some strange Q&A forum where people answer a pre-selected prompt like its a dating profile. Not sure why that's here or why it needs a whole special tab in the bottom nav.

The menus within menus within forced tiny scroll menus give me a headache. Clicking into boxes to input information is laggy and sometimes it doesn't tell you which fields are required to submit something. The load times in EVERY action vary from 1 to 2 seconds which is quite egregious in any app or website in 2026. Especially with how often something needs to load or be loaded.

Often times when trying to add a picture of something to my collection or scan something, I'm hit with an "error" . No specifications. Just "error"

Basically put TL;DR it's got a long road before it becomes THE tool for collectors to use. I don't know if the dev is working on this solo, but I do hope one day they can afford to hire some help for some of the smaller things like UI design. From what others say, the dev has worked a lot these past couple of years to make improvements. That alone deserves a massive amount of kudos and respect. It's an app and site I WANT to love and use, but many things are still too "unfriendly" to make me want to continue using it. I may wait another couple of years of updates before trying to use it again.

That said, I give the app 2 bonus stars that bump it from a 0 because it has come a long way and its creator genuinely seems to care for the project compared to many who have come before them and tried to do the same.

Not terrible

It’s a really cool concept I wish it worked faster. I absolutely wouldn’t mind paying monthly for it but it takes so long to scan each item I can google it faster. Also they advertise a free trial on the app which I was going to do, but then there’s no option for the free trial and it just wants you to pay. without even testing out the features yet? no thanks and good luck!

Broken

I can’t log in. It says it sends a verification code but I’ve checked and searched and I’m not getting the emails at all, so I can’t log in to do anything.

Good for collectors, but has Limits

I absolutely love that I can upload and sort my collections into categories and see their prices. However, scanning figs can be slow and time consuming making it really difficult for larger collections. I would also like to see more scans for the free version, but it’s understandable.

I love Memoa!

I had been dying for an app like this with my collection as big as it is! Any collector needs this app!

Like the features, missing somethings

I really like the app for cataloging my collection, but it does have some issues I can’t seem to figure out. 1) when I do a scan, it asks me what I paid for the item, but when I look at the item later, it says not specified. 2) I can’t find any activity unless I get a push notification. When I hit the notification, it shows all the activity. It would be nice to go in and see it without waiting for a push notification. 3) when you select feedback, it takes you to a screen that just says thank you for your feedback, without giving you a way to type anything in. Lastly, it would be nice to have a way that shows you the value of your collection vs amount spent. These might be options on the app, but I have not found them yet.

Great for all collectors

I love this app because it makes it so easy to show off all my different collections in one place. Having everything organized in a single app is super convenient and makes sharing fun. It’s especially great for displaying Legos and plushies. They look awesome and are really easy to browse. Highly recommend for any collector!

Very useful 👍🏼

This app made it very easy to find the value of my collection. When I went to get insurance, it was helpful to have a list with value and photos of my dolls.
Also fun to see other peoples collections, and show off mine too others who appreciate it.

Meant for collectors

I really love adding my bags to the app and seeing how much they’re worth!

A Collectors Dream!

I downloaded Memoa after learned about it from one of my MLP Facebook groups. I was instantly hooked! I love every single piece in all my collections, but I have so much stuff and some of my stuff is hard to see because of my cramped space. But with Memoa, once I get my pictures uploaded, I can go through and look at all the things I have. There’s so many perks to the app that I need to start using too. Being able to keep track of how much your collection is worth is one of them! If you love collecting and have always wanted to be able to keep track of everything, you definitely need this app! Add me, my username is -> starxcatcher <- :D

Such an awesome app for collectors!! Highly recommend.

Best app ever!!

I have Autism and I love this app! I am a huge collector so it’s nice to keep track of everything. It’s also wonderful to share my collections/special interests with other people. I wish there was a way to DM people. (There might be one I just haven’t found it or figured it out)

Wooo

Watching the app update and change with what Im hoping is user feedback from surveys is always super fun to see. This newest layout is great and I look forward to watching it grow more. App is really good for sharing my builds with people.

Collectors dream

Having one place to list and catalogue all types of collectables makes it so easy to get a good look at everything you own. Being able to use photos so you can see exactly what you’re listing is really nice! Everyone owns trinkets these days so this is the perfect place to keep track and share your love of collecting with others🙌

Wicked cool!

A while ago I was looking for a way to keep track of my doll collections and see other collections too. I’ve been using Memoa for a while and love it! And with every new update it gets even better. There are some features I don’t use but other collectors would love!
