Blocked UI
Unable to create an account to setup WiFi due to the interface of the app in combination with iPhone keyboard. The keyboard blocks the “create account” button. What a silly problem.
Working again
Not sure why, but the app wasn’t adjusting my temps for about 2 weeks. I could see adjustments from the grill. They have started working again.
Temp functions aren’t working again
This was working but recently I can only see the info, I can’t change anything from the app. All changes from the grill show up fine.
$6K and you get this?
My App fails and is not functional most of the time. When you buy an expensive smoker, it might be reasonable to expect an App that works and is highly functional. Fail.

App Is Trash
I like the Grill itself but the WiFi and app functions are absolute trash because it’s very unreliability and quite frankly rarely works at all. I’ve had the grill over a year and try to make the WiFi/App work every few months and it’s rarely successful and success is short-lived. If WiFi and app capabilities are important to you, don’t buy Memphis. It is crazy that Memphis tarnishes their reputation of an otherwise excellent grill because they can’t (or won’t) fix the WiFi and app functions.

Not Work at ALL
This app is just not working. Every time at start up freeze and turn off by it self. Need a lot of improvements

It’s a great app in general, but with this update, they took away the ability to change the temperature on the app, I feel this is a major step back.
Bad APP
Memphis has become very difficult to work with! Now the original app isn’t working and it’s not just me! Everyone is complaining.
iPad Frustration
The app almost always works perfectly. No knocks there. It’s fine on my iPhone, but too frustrating to use on my iPad. The interface will not rotate. My iPad sits on its side attached to a keyboard.
This is a simple thing to fix.
The interface itself is fine, but it would be nice if it retained some probe history of past cooks that could be downloaded and retained.
The actual grill is outstanding. I wouldn’t let a gripe about the app on an ipad be a deciding factor on the purchase.

Flop!
I have tried like 100 times to connect my grill. Infinite loop of logging in, entering MAC, Entering the grill name, and forcing me to enter a new grill name, the. The app crashes.
No support at all! So disappointed when spending this kind of money on a nice smoker.

What happened to Memphis Grills?
My original Memphis Advantage is a great grill, albeit with out Wi-Fi connectivity, but the temp controller was bang on and steady.
This new Memphis Beal Street is such a let down from their previous model! After months with their (very nice) tech support, after new Wi-Fi card, update of the operating grill system, this grill still won’t connect to the app. The temp reading on the screen is 80 degrees off from an oven and infra red thermometer. I’ve purchased two Rectec grills for family members and there is no connection problems and temp readings are bang on with those.
Very disappointed with Memphis. I saved up a lot of money for this grill and feel it was wasted.

Worse WiFi connectivity ever
Grill is ok. Stainless is nice but it’s pointless to not be able to use the Wi-Fi connection if it does not work half the time. When you lose power or a breaker trips due to weather, I have a hard time reconnecting. I paid over $4,000 for this unit (Elite) . Wasted money. I will be more diligent in researching any product I buy from now on.

Works great once connected
For me, the app works fine. The issue is with the grill having to be reset nearly every time I use the wifi features. Its a pain and really shouldnt happen on a $7K grill when this technology is honestly old and common.
That said, the app works good for me—being able to control the grill just fine, making adjustments, showing history of probe temps, etc.
My only suggestion for the app is to change the graphed colors for the probes. Having all the probes displayed in shades of red/orange makes one almost indecipherable from another. I get your app colors are in that pallet but come on…. Lets try red green blue or something easily distinguished.

Pretty much worthless
The WiFi part of the Memphis grill. I have followed all instructions and still cannot connect.
Wifi controls are the best!
Use the app from anywhere to control your grill and watch temps! Best feature for any grill and uploads to the cloud servers so you can do it via cellular from anywhere. You can’t start the grill (because not safe) but you can shut it off, change temps, see up to 3 probe temps. Game changer on grill tech!

After the update yesterday I don’t see the option to adjust the grill temperature any longer??? I don’t believe I can adjust anything other than turn notifications on/off
