Mentor99 Parent Beta Tester Testimonial
As a parent, it is not always easy to know how to start the right conversations with your student athlete. I joined Mentor99 as a beta tester by signing in as a parent, and from day one, the app gave me something truly valuable. Every day I receive a talking point designed to help me better understand what my athlete may be experiencing with their team, at school, and at home. What makes this powerful is that it does not just point out the struggles. It also gives me real examples of questions I can ask and how to approach those conversations in a healthy and supportive way.
One feature I really enjoy is the consistency tracker and leaderboard. Each day you log in and engage, you build your daily hot streak 🔥. I worked my way up to 14 days in a row and even reached near the top of the leaderboard. Missing a day resets your streak, which honestly motivated me even more to stay consistent. The app also tracks your personal best, so even if you start over, you can always see what you have already accomplished. It turns showing up for your child into something both intentional and fun.
The most meaningful part of this app, and what truly sets it apart, is the suicide and crisis hotlines built directly into the back page of the platform in large, easy to access letters. As parents of student athletes, we cannot ignore the enormous pressure these kids live under every single day. They are balancing school, sports, expectations from coaches and teammates, social pressure, and family life all at the same time. Seeing that level of awareness and responsibility built into the app tells me the creators truly understand what young athletes are facing.
Mentor99 has not only helped me open better conversations with my child, but it has also taught me a lot about how to listen, how to support, and how to approach difficult topics with confidence instead of fear. For any parent who feels unsure about how to talk with their athlete about real life challenges, this app provides a powerful, simple, and meaningful tool.
I am truly grateful for what Mentor99 offers, both as a parent and as someone who genuinely cares about the mental, emotional, and personal health of student athletes.

Great App for Athletes and Their Parents
I like the parent feature in this app because it allows me to connect with my child about the daily message of the day with a parent conversation starter. A lot of the messages resonate with me too!
