Mercato is a grocery delivery service that allows you to shop from local grocery stores, butcher shops, farmers' markets, and other food purveyors. It focuses on providing fresh, high-quality food while supporting local small businesses and the environment.
You can order groceries through the app from your favorite local stores. Your food is hand-selected and packaged by the grocers themselves. You can then choose same-day home delivery or pick up your order at the store.
The app itself is free to download and use. While there are no direct in-app purchases for features, the cost of groceries and delivery fees would apply. They also offer a Mercato Green subscription for unlimited free delivery.
You can shop from a variety of local food businesses including grocery stores, butcher shops, farmers' markets, food halls, cheese shops, and bakeries. This allows you to access a wide range of specialty and artisan products.
Yes, you can schedule your orders weeks in advance through the app. This feature allows you to plan your grocery shopping ahead of time and ensure you receive your items when you need them.
