Best weather app by far
After apple bought weather line and shut it down I was very distraught. There just wasn't anything that compared. Then at some point I came across Mercury and it's even better.

This app is basically Carrot Weather Lite. A stripped down version of the great Carrot app.
Every feature is behind a paywall, including widgets. Only 3 weather sources to choose from.
Spend a little more and get a TON more with Carrot.

Not working
I like Mercury overall, but it can be running in the back ground and when I click to open it back up, the screen goes blank so I close it and click on it again I get the same thing and then it crashes. Sometime it just freezes when I open it back up from running in the background also.
I install every update to the app and also I am running the current version of iOS.

A downgrade compared to the standard version
The app reports incorrect temperatures all the time
Great for fast forecast
Mercury is great for a quick glance to get the daily and weekly forecast.
If they could add 1 thing, it would be a real time AQI reading in the daily forecast tile.

Does weather, does it really well.
If you want to see a visual trajectory of the weather conditions through the day, no weather app does it better than Mercury. Lots of widgets, and watchOS support is pretty nice too.

For a free App it’s the Best
Compelling minimalist design
Has a lot to like for someone wanting a minimalist design, however it's not my choice for a daily Weather app for the following reasons.
It needs another solid weather forecast source for the premium tier (needs at least TWC or AccuWeather). Apple Weather & Foreca don't cut it.
Two dealbreakers for me:
–❗️Daily forecast chart lacks precipitation %
–❗️Top Giant Temp. is Ugly/bright, lacks today's high/low & feels like

Mercury Weather
To the developer… I would really like to purchase the lifetime option, but for $59.99 you are out of your mind. Put it on sale or I’m looking elsewhere. There’s a lot better options out there that are cheaper for a lifetime option.
