Fun merge game
It’s one of the more fun merge games I’ve played.
Fun yet Disappointing
Pros:
Fun concept and mindless gameplay initially.
Cons:
- Addictive and it is built like that almost to mirror the experience of a gambler
- Constant pop-ups pushing limited-time energy packs.
- Paid packs often contain items that are not useful or don't provide meaningful progress.
- Progression slows significantly when key merge items are needed, making it feel artificially delayed.
- Album completion becomes increasingly difficult despite spending time and money.
- Rewards are underwhelming for the effort and cost.
- After purchasing packs, the game encourages higher energy multipliers, causing resources to disappear even faster.
- Free energy and other rewards seem to become less frequent after spending money.
Bottom line:
When playtime increases, it begins costing more (in time, $$$, sweat equity), then they offer more for sale and there is less incentive to continue playing. Yet, you get sucked in.
I've stopped spending money on this game because it doesn't reward loyal players with fair progression or meaningful incentives. It feels more focused on encouraging purchases than providing a balanced and enjoyable experience. My new thing is, when the energy runs out, so does my presence on the game. When they stop giving free energy or take forever to advance, I will delete the app.
