More Than Just Another Merge Game
What keeps me playing is that there’s actually a story and a sense of progression beyond just merging the same items over and over. The merge side and Elsa’s adventure also feed into each other. Completing merge orders earns energy to explore the islands, but Elsa sometimes needs specific items that you have to merge up too, and those requests give regular order-style rewards. It makes the two parts feel connected instead of like separate games stuck together.
The story is genuinely good, but it’s also skippable if that isn’t your thing.
I’m several islands in now and honestly expected to have lost interest or hit the usual wall where everything suddenly gets harder and progress slows to a crawl. There are definitely harder orders, but they’re mixed with easier ones so you can still make progress. The merge categories also change as you move through the islands, so you aren’t making the same items forever. I actually find myself wanting to merge some of the newer chains all the way up just to see the highest-level item.
There are also plenty of optional side games and events. Some completion events feel a little ambitious unless you have a lot of energy, but you can still participate and earn rewards without feeling like you have to finish everything. Regular orders can also earn items or currency for the side games, so running out of energy in one part of the game doesn’t always mean you’re done playing.
One of my favorite things is how the game handles ads and purchases. There are ads, but none have been forced on me. You choose whether you want to watch one for extra energy or an item, which I REALLY appreciate because I usually delete games that interrupt me with ads between levels. Purchase offers pop up too, but not constantly, and I haven’t seen buttons placed in ways that feel designed to make you accidentally tap them.
Rubies are also earned regularly through normal gameplay, which makes a huge difference. I don’t feel bad spending some on extra energy or an item because I know I can earn them back instead of treating every ruby like something I’ll eventually have to pay real money to replace. There are daily freebies too, plus extra energy and collection items to find while exploring.
Some locked areas seem tied to passes or keys and contain extra rewards, but so far they feel like bonuses for paying players rather than parts of the actual game being withheld from everyone else. That feels fair.
I’d actually love to see a small permanent purchase option someday, like $1–$2 to permanently raise the merge energy cap from 100 to 125. I’m much more likely to spend a few dollars supporting a game I enjoy when I’m buying a permanent quality-of-life perk rather than consumable energy that disappears in a few minutes.
Overall, this feels like someone made a merge game because they wanted it to be fun, not just because they wanted another place to sell energy packs. You can play for a little while and come back later, or accidentally play for hours if you have absolutely no willpower. 😂

AVOID THIS GAME – IT HAS BECOME A MONEY-MAKING MACHINE
Over time, I’ve watched the rewards become smaller and smaller while the prices stay exactly the same. Recently it has reached a ridiculous level. You get so little for your money that it feels like you constantly have to pay just to keep playing and make any meaningful progress.
I never minded spending money on a game I enjoyed when I felt I was getting reasonable value in return. But this no longer feels reasonable, it feels deliberately designed to squeeze as much money as possible out of players while giving less and less back.
After being a loyal player for over a year, I genuinely feel ripped off. What was once an enjoyable game now feels like a blatant cash grab.
My advice to new players: stay away. Once you’re invested in the game, it becomes increasingly expensive to actually enjoy it.
I’m done spending money on it, and I’m done playing it.
