RAP pass
The RAP pass was good on most rides, but there were a few that queuing for 30-45 minutes was difficult. As a RAP pass holder that finds it difficult to stand for long periods of time this made it hard to enjoy those rides.

Ride access is terrible and inaccessible nowadays, can never get any passes, those who can’t stand for long and need step less can never plan a last minute trip
Not fit for purpose
The app kept crashing, meaning we waited in the “virtual line” to then only be kicked out of the line and had to start all over again. Tried to raise this with a number of staff members who were not helpful. So we got on minimum rides and the day was super stressful. Won’t be coming back while this system is in place.

App don’t acknowledge update
The app does not work despite attempting to update however the app is not acknowledging the update. I won’t be renewing my Merlin annual pass! I am disappointed.
Update has broken App
App told me I need to update to use - updated and no change still wants to be updated - totally unusable and have a disappointed child unable to go to theme park today.
Latest update
What happened with the latest update? I downloaded it, go to open it and the app keeps telling me ‘please update your application’.

Sub optimal
This app is super annoying and or its interaction at Thorpe Park. When things work ok it gets the job done however this is generally not the case. Prime example it’s told me just now to update however now it’s stuck in a loop of saying it needs an update after just updating. Also despite being on the TP wifi several times the app was unable to verify that I was near enough to be able to join the queue. I had to kill the app reload it and then generally I was able to get RAP working. I was able to get around most of these issues however I feel a lot of parents would not be able to resolve these and it would negatively affect their experience.

Really disappointing and frustrating app
This app is honestly so difficult to use. It constantly crashes, freezes and takes ages to load. I’ve had to completely delete the app and redownload it multiple times just to try and get it working, only for it to start doing the exact same thing again.
The calendar is also really confusing. It shows dates but sometimes I can’t even select them or nothing happens when I press them. I’m trying to book a Ride Access Pass for an upcoming visit and it’s incredibly stressful when the app isn’t working properly, especially when there are limited spaces available.
This isn’t just a normal app where it doesn’t really matter if it crashes. People are relying on this app to access disability accommodations at the theme park. If the app doesn’t work and the available spaces fill up, that can have a massive impact on someone’s visit.
Please fix the crashing, freezing, slow loading and calendar issues. The whole process shouldn’t be this stressful just to access something that disabled guests genuinely need.

Horrible and needs changing and a new system
Not working prefer the original access ride pass. Never works always have to have issues then walk to get help for them to tell me use the app that doesn’t work to then waste time to finally get a paper ticket as they see apps not working for me. App is awful always issues drains your battery and is not a good system as very frustrating and battery consuming

Was good until the update
The update has made this app awful! Join a que of over 100 people just to find no available slots! At least before the update it was quick to check.

just a shocking, shocking app. can’t even get in the queue without spending 2 hours on that screen when i have better things to be doing to not even get into the booking - kicked me off as soon as i got to around position 100 due to no internet connection. i tried again and again but it does the same thing. it’s definitely not accessible and definitely not the best step forward for uk theme parks

I have the Ride access ID for my son it states I can add this to the app but I can it’s saying I need a different card! So what’s the point of having the Merlin one

This app supports to most ableist discriminative system. To add insult to injury, it doesn’t even work. I’ve been trying to access it for a week and can’t. Absolute joke

Really frustrating, the app glitches constantly, and you’re in a queue that never moved, and cites connection issues constantly.
Why it’s so bad
The whole purpose of a access pass is so you don’t wait but whatever the que time is, is however long you have to wait after. Overall its so bad as people who have it so they don’t wait and if they have some problem like autism, diabetes or ADHD for example it’s so bad for them to wait and it’s trash it should I be like Disneyland where you get a card and you show it to the rider access person

This app does not work, and it told me that my rap was not eligable! I am incredibly annoyed. They shouldve kept their old website instead.
Limited disabled tickets
They only release limited disabled access tickets so unless you book months in advance you won’t get it. Really terrible
