What's New in MeshWave

1.0.1

April 1, 2026

Improved first-launch experience — radio scanning now starts automatically when no device is connected. Added setup guide for new users: Meshtastic firmware must be installed on your radio before connecting to MeshWave. Visit flasher.meshtastic.org to set up your device. MeshSight AR, offline maps, and compass work without a radio — just your iPhone's GPS.

User reviews

Great concept not great protocol

MeshCore is far more robust than Meshtastic and if it was built on MeshCore. I would give it five stars, even if some of the features don’t work well. I had two Meshtastic nodes that were in the same room that could not send pictures or voice or text messages even at the least between two devices properly configured. This is just the inherent issues with Meshtastic. Absolutely fantastic app and absolutely worth the money. Just wish that it was built on either reticulum or Meshcore.

Needs polish but seems great

Like many meshtastic apps it has finicky connections and sometimes thats the device not the app. Will update this review after using it more. Hoping the app truly doesnt collect data anywhere and the app store listing pertains to just the nature of meshtastic rather than such data being stored or retained remotely anywhere.

Won’t hold a connection

It’s very bad at trying to hold a connection. When I did get the connection it was great. It worked as it stated.

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t work not worth any cent

Кривой Ai мусор

Интерфейсы просто ужас, стабильности работы нет (да и работы нет) в вкладке gps вообще все загнулось, года вроде подключена а вроде и нет.
