honestly not bad

look apps are apps - their updates have been good imo and my disability office has been more knowledgeable when they help us with issues (and maybe that’s messenger pigeon support team being better idk) either way alot of these reviews feel super outdated idk? not bad tho.

Amazing app

This app is perfect for helping me revisit school lectures since I have troubles writing notes and listening at the same time.

The professional note takers are incredible at their job.

The support team has been great at helping me when I have technical issues.

Very useful tool, though not perfect

It had a bit of a learning curve (it took some trial and error to realize that I need to keep the app open while it uploads fully), but I always get my notes back in time to study them and use them however I need. It’s a little inconvenient at times, as sometimes I forget to request my notes in time, and even though it asks if I want to request notes when I first upload the recording, it never actually does unless I go back in the app and request them myself after it’s done generating the transcript. Overall, the benefits outweigh the inconveniences, and it’s paid for by my school so I’m just grateful I get to use a tool like this. It could still use some improvements but overall it gets the job done.

Great app, very useful

I use this app regularly on my desktop and is a huge help with recording my lectures. When I download it on my phone, the app doesn’t open after being signed in.

Terrible

Not accessible even though used for disability services at schools (out of code in comparison to we accessibility standards legislation), no way to download transcript, customer service is slow, upload and conversion to transcript is slow. Sub par transcription app. Sometimes pauses for no reason mid recordings and loses everything. Recently started saying that the recording is “deleted” when trying to upload it (sometimes it saves, sometimes it doesn’t).

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. Transcripts can't be downloaded from the mobile app, however, they can be downloaded from the desktop app and web version. Our support team are available Monday to Friday, however, you reached out on a Sunday but were able to still receive assistance. Please let us know if you require any further assistance, we're happy to help.

Bandy in need of updates

Shuts down randomly. Pauses when someone calls and doesn’t start again. Won’t record if you don’t request notes. Drops half of my recording randomly.

Facing issues with glitches and tech problems

It’s been a couple of days now and they still haven’t been able to fix the situation. It’s good when it works but bad when it freezes and not respond.

Worst note-taking app EVER!

At first, it took days for the audio to upload, so I reached out many times constantly to support for help. I did everything they said, but now, NONE of my audio will upload, so I can't request notes because the audio won't even load! Seriously, horrible, horrible, atrocious app!!!

Love being able to play back video files and see the transcript at the same time. Most note taking apps are audio only so I really appreciate this feature when reviewing my classes.

This is great

Easy to use and it is a lot easier than when I was working with a peer note taker!

Horrible App

I have note accommodations through my college. I was excited to use the app despite the bad reviews, and just like everyone I was left disappointed. There are many glitches with all 3 electronic devices that I used. I tried my phone, iPad, and computer yet they all failed to either record properly, deliver my professional notes, and/or transcribe the audio. I asked one of the workers for help, and they said i’d get an email of my professional notes quickly, but it’s been 5 days and I have yet to receive anything. I will not be using this app again and I hope people don’t use this app because it’s not a reliable source especially if you’re relying on it for school.

Best study app ever!

This has been a lifesaver! It works perfectly in class and I can get professional notes in two days. I also love the purple color.
