The fact that Facebook can get away with this is disgusting
Was given a pair of ray ban stories, need this trash app to use them. Come to find that they updated this app and basically bricked every single meta gen 1 glasses about two months ago and the issue is still not fixed. Got these perfectly fine glasses that dont work at all whatsoever, they need to be sued.

problems with glasses
No sound from speakers after the latest update — issue still unresolved, and unclear how to track my support ticket status
After the most recent firmware update on my Ray-Ban Meta glasses, the speaker completely stopped working — no sound at all for music, calls, or Meta AI voice responses. Everything worked fine before the update, and **the issue is still not fixed.
I tried the standard troubleshooting steps: restarting the glasses, reconnecting via Bluetooth, and updating the Meta AI app itself — none of this fixed the problem. Looking at the user community (forums, Reddit), I'm seeing a lot of similar complaints right after this same update, so this looks like a widespread bug rather than an isolated case, and it clearly needs attention from the team.
On top of that, I already submitted a support request to Meta about this, but I can't figure out:
- Where to check the status of my support request;
- Where to see the support team's response — whether it comes by email, in-app, or somewhere else;
- Whether there's a ticket number or reference I can use if I need to follow up.
It would be really helpful if the app had a clear "My Support Requests" section showing status and message history — right now it's completely unclear what happens to a request after it's submitted.

I used to be able to animate and download directly like before, now you have to save it into your cloud storage. What gives??

Completely incompetent. You can’t even change the region you’re in. I was visiting Thailand and now they have me associated with there and can’t use the glasses. Really dumb people here.

The responses are slow when I just want fast answers to my questions but literally takes forever to answer and the answer is sometimes 4 words long with a crazy amount of bugs, it was never fixed, especially with all the unnecessary limitations it has. Fix this.
