I’d give it zero stars if I could. I go to login and it just gives me a blank white page with a feedback button. Useless app
The new update (3.0.56) is just a website in an app-like container with improper text alignment and key missing elements like a Home Screen button. Lazy and terrible update.
I’ve never reviewed an app on purpose, but this has been so frustrating that I just had to write my experience. This app worked well until the day I got MetLife Pet insurance through my employer. The app never logged in again after that, and I can only go on the website after many call to MetLife, they shrugged their shoulders. I can view my pet insurance only.

Bring back the old design. The new design is basically just a link to the website and you can’t use Face ID to authenticate or save your login, so every time you open the app you have to login again and go through 2FA again. This app is a step backwards.
Poor app functionality
How in the year 2026 are companies still making apps that are this buggy and slow?
Why can’t I see my HSA balance in the app??
“Problem loading your profile”
App is clean, you can view your polices but when you find an in network doctor or dentist, you can’t click on the information like call. You can’t even print or share your ID cards because it won’t let you click. So I have to legit use the safari app to search up the doctor or practice address and use google to verify the information.

I’ve had this app for about 4 to 6 months and not once has it ever loaded
Wow! Whoever is in charge of this app development and the whole team should be fired! After login, it tries to load the policies and keeps failing continuously! I have uninstalled and reinstalled but the issue is the same! Sometimes can’t load the profile, sometimes the app it it errors out. What a disaster!

Like the title app sucks
Login doesn’t work the password is always empty even if you type
Tried using website to manage leave but couldn’t. Site very cumbersome and not user friendly.
Keeps saying “Sorry, there was a problem loading your profile”
It simply doesn’t work. It never loads your profile, it’s garbage.
I have had to use the MetLife disability services a few times and every single time I need to it is a nightmare to try to navigate the online experience whether it would be through the website or through the mobile app. It is constantly showing incorrect information that I need to reach directly out through the phone lines to clarify with their representative on the phone and half the time they don’t even even know what’s happening I’ll receive information that things were approved and then when I click into the app, it says that they’re not approved and that never updates. And only when I call do I find out that no it was approved and I didn’t need to worry and stop what I was doing to contact them. I can’t imagine what it was like previously but for the past 2026 calendar year and it’s entirety the app has been like this and it also crashes and or says that it can’t load information whenever I need to click into case details and such.

MetLife has tried to call me at inopportune moments twice I think. The first time they said it was them, but I’m not sure if it and they were demanding private information about me to prove who I was a human. The second time they called during dinner I have tried to call back twice. To get a hold of them apparently so I thought I would try to email through the app and while it looks like there is a way to Mail there’s no way to type it or put it in. There’s no like when you like tap on the box. Nothing open I’m really unhappy right now with MetLife. I guess that’s par for the course for insurance in America.

I love the new mobile app format. It’s clean, user friendly and concise!
My company switched to MetLife and it’s been the biggest pain. There website fails to load pages so you can’t manage your claim and it won’t let you upload documents will just come up as error. I called MetLife they seemed really confused and told me to use the app so I did and it’s just as bad if not worse. Only lets you upload pictures from your camera roll or taking pictures which is useless if you want to upload a .pdf and if you trying to take a screen shot to send it and try to submit it won’t even do anything super frustrating. Last thing I want to deal with while hurt on disability to be able to keep my job.
