scam

they charged us more

No apply pay have to enter so much stuff manually it’s a pain

Just Apple Pay

Didn’t let me end ride

I only rented out the bike for 30 minutes but for some reason it didn’t let me end ride so the timer is STILL GOING I do not recommend went from 30 minutes to 2 whole days they still haven’t fixed it and when I tried to report it in the app it didn’t accept my report

Paid but nothing get

i sign up though the app, and paid $1.75, but nothings happen, the app said my login password is wrong, but i can't reset my password, i can't take the bike and i can't do anything. The text and email support in the app is fail! No support at all! Is it a scam?!

Bikes are gross

You guys should have wipes on every station. All the bikes were gross and handles sticky

Bad app

Cant even end my ride you should make “end” button, your stations are not working sometimes

Do not rely on this as transport

The app does not recognize when I return a bike. Not only does this mean that my tab keeps running for hours on end, but I can’t rent another bike out until the issue is resolved. The support team has VERY limited hours, and the in-app report feature simply does not work, meaning that I’m now stranded and have to take a $50 uber. This is seriously screwed up. Update: due to this chronic and yet-unaddressed issue, I have had multiple deeply unpleasant encounters with the poorly trained, rude, and emotional support team. I’ve learned that this “service” is run by a contractor called Bicycle Transit Systems. Bad customer service can be tolerated if the service itself is functional and vise versa, but in this case, both are seriously flawed.

Amazing app

Amazing app and the best bike share I’ve ever used in north America

Poor locking mechanisms

Bike sometimes doesn't register as returned and you're on the hook for $2500.

Fire the whole team

Such an unreliable system. Docked a bike but it wouldn’t register as returned.

Payment never works

Useless.

Constant logouts; login latency

The app regularly logs me out (at least once a month). Which I’m okay with… but the problem is that logging back in doesn’t work half the time. Clicking login with the correct password seems to hang for a while but it doesn’t indicate to you so (latency issues?). Which is confusing since it makes you think you forgot your password, prompting you to go through that flow (even though you inputted the correct password). The app should display a loading icon to indicate to you that the login has latency issues, so that the user properly waits. Because of this, I have wasted a lot of money calling Rideshares to get to work, only to realize the app logs you in after some time (I checked after 10 minutes)

Terrible just terrible

Wrong location on bike after scanning the QR code on the bike. Was in ocean front and somehow downtown was selected. Asked to either end the trip or lock the bike from customer service and they were of no help. Told me I have to go to the pace to inform them that the bike is still there when im 3 miles away. Even sent a pic of where I was and proof of location and they still wouldn’t help lock the bike. Terrible just terrible service.

The worst

You have the worst vehicles of its kind.

terrible

app crashes every time. it's a coin toss if the stations are in service. fix your app!!!

Back

Is still on, so I am worried that the trip hasn’t ended

Weren’t being helpful

I tried to close my account since I couldn’t find a missing bike or returning it. I just don’t think it’s a good idea to use the Bike Share in Los Angeles. Please be careful with using this app.

Account unexpectedly locked out

Everything went well until I couldn't log in to my account, saying, “Invalid login. Please try again.” I tried resetting my password, but they told me to contact customer service and said there was nothing they could do! Please fix the issue LA Metro Bike Service!

Got the hang of it and going great

The first couple rides I had some issues parking the bike back in the dock and had to contact support for help. After that I got the hang of docking slowly but firmly for the three beeps lol!! Since then it’s been smooth sailing. Parking is limited where I live and I often have to park a 20 minute walk or more away. Accessing the bikes makes it so much easier and faster, as well as zipping around town for various appointments. Took me a minute but now I love this service.
