Upper case Hangman?
PS: THEIR (NEVER ADMIT YOU’RE WRONG) SOLUTION APPEARS TO BE TO HAVE TWO VERSIONS NOW! FIRST IS ALL CAPITALS AND SECOND LOWER CASE - EXCEPT FOR OCCASIONAL TITLE CAPITALISATION WHICH COMPOUNDS THE ISSUE! THANKFULLY THE CROSSWORD IS ALL UPPER CASE.

Used to be very good but not having been updated for a year a compiling “error”has crept in. On trying to complete Hangman was getting words with no vowels! Then realised that the current compiler is using lower case!
The iOS screen keyboard only has upper case so hangman can never be completed!!
App support from Apple Store has a broken link so have resorted to emailing each day explaining the issue with attached screen shot showing the solution. Several days later no reply and no resolution.
I suspect this is either lack of comprehension or journalistic arrogance in not liking being corrected.
BOTTOM LINE USE THE CAPS LOCK ON YOUR DESKTOP WHEN COMPILING HANGMAN. QED!

Easy to read newspaper and love the interactive puzzles. Shame there are no free puzzles at the weekend.

Hangman error
Cannot complete the hangman puzzle as it seems to want lower case which I cannot use on my device. Please fix this.

I enjoy Metro but disappointed with the puzzle section as you got rid of pieceword and now made hangman inaccessible as it is lower case only which is not available on iPad
Great app with a great puzzle section
While I like the app I have been disappointed by an update that prevents me from completing the Hangman puzzle because it requires use of lower case letters which are inaccessible on my iPad. Please fix this. Thanks.

Metro online review
I don't usually read newspapers-the nearest I get is buying one when travelling, and I generally do the cryptic crossword and ignore the rest. However, the Metro online edition is easy to read, easy to skip the boring bits, and always has some good or light-hearted news to brighten the day up a bit. Really like the cartoons.
My only grouse is the poor grammar and spelling. Don’t editors exist nowadays?

Metro lets itself down online
Could be better. Lots of spelling mistakes and the daily edition seems to be 24 hours out of date, whilst the live feeds appear busy, however headlines are repeated throughout the page which gets frustrating. The paper version is far better surprisingly.
Slow to load editions
The app is very slow loading the editions each day. Seemingly nothing happens for about 30 seconds and there is no indication that something is loading. I’m on fast internet and using an iPad Pro. Apart from that the app is ok.

I have been reading the Metro online for years. I absolutely love the format where you have your daily edition. But also can keep up with live news too. Enjoy the Horoscope as a bit of escapism, but also doing the daily word search etc. Thank you team. Keep up the hard work.

Only the opening page is available now, I used to enjoy the news, sport and puzzles but these are no longer loading.

Too Woke!
The puzzles are good but the reporting is biased towards issues that appeal to 1% of the population. Broaden your appeal or your readers will leave you behind.
Not what it once was
This app has gone down hill over the past couple of years to the point whereby it feels like 15-year-old kids have pieced it together as part of a school project. News articles are fraught with errors I would not expect to see in a national newspaper and they are a jar to read. The actual print edition is the same. Deleted.

Great little free paper.
I look forward to reading my Metro every day. It just sums up what you need to know to be up-to-date with news. I particularly enjoy the puzzles. Good for the brain. My mother enjoyed it too.
