About
MetroEye is a metronome you can see.
An eye at the center of the screen follows every beat and blinks on the downbeat — lock onto the timing with your eyes, not just your ears.
■ Latency offset — for players in headphones
The click you hear is never exactly where the app thinks it is: output latency and touch delay push it off by a fixed amount. MetroEye lets you dial that out in 10 ms steps, right on the play screen, while the metronome is still running. Nudge − or + until the click sits where your ear expects it.
■ Two ways to start
· Current Tempo — tap to set any speed on the spot
· Preset Tempo — play along to a saved tempo sequence
■ Preset sequences
Group several sections (BPM + time signature) into one preset. While playing, a TAP switches to the next section at the end of the bar.
■ Play screen
TAP and STOP sit one above the other at the same size, so you never hunt for a button mid-take. STOP leaves the screen where it is — press START to resume at the same tempo, or just tap four beats to set a new one.
■ Fine control
· Time signatures: 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/4
· Subdivisions: quarter, eighth, triplet, sixteenth
· Volume
