Pick your microphone. Mic. now lists every input your iPhone offers: the built-in mic's patterns, wired headsets, USB audio interfaces and receivers, and Bluetooth hands-free mics. Your choice sticks across restarts. Bluetooth mics carry their own earpiece on iOS, so monitoring follows them; USB receivers with a headphone jack give zero-delay monitoring. Fixes a crash at launch on some devices, and keeps audio running when a microphone's format changes.

Thank you for the feedback, and sorry for the frustration. You are right that 2.0 could not switch to an external mic. Version 2.1, released the same day as your review, adds an input picker: connect your mic, then tap the microphone selector below the level meters to choose it. It lists wired headsets, USB interfaces and receivers, and Bluetooth mics, and remembers your choice. If it still does not show your mic after updating, please email us the mic model from the About page and we will make it work.

This is a shame. The app does not work to amplify your voice connected to a speaker or any other device. It is horrible!!!!!
