Thank you for the feedback, and sorry for the frustration. You are right that 2.0 could not switch to an external mic. Version 2.1, released the same day as your review, adds an input picker: connect your mic, then tap the microphone selector below the level meters to choose it. It lists wired headsets, USB interfaces and receivers, and Bluetooth mics, and remembers your choice. If it still does not show your mic after updating, please email us the mic model from the About page and we will make it work.

This is a shame. The app does not work to amplify your voice connected to a speaker or any other device. It is horrible!!!!!

Great app. Microphone is like a normal one. Only thing that is really bad is that there is a red bar that stays on. Update this app and change it!!!
It is just a mic picture on my iPad iOS5.1 for $0.99
Not function. No sound come out from earphone jack. Only thing you can enjoy is the big mic picture.

Paid for it. Tried it. Not worth it even if free. The five star reviews must be planted. Disappointed and a little angry that I wasted my money based on slick marketing.

Alright.....
Great with head phones, but dose doesn't really work at all with speakers. The mic dose not turn off, at the top if says recording even if your on a different app :( please fix that as its annoying.

I was hoping to use it with the internal mic (not the headset mic) I guess I can force it by using different headphones but I think it should have a switch.
