Scrolling up or down causes a moderate amount of stuttering.

Be careful; AI is very annoying. I want the choice to turn it off or having an operating system that does not include Artificial Intelligence; because it’s artificial and annoying. It does not know what I will say or do. Too bad for you that it’s only about making money for yourselves.

Copilot is now turned on by default and keeps turning back on.

Believe it or not there are some of us humans that do not want to feed into the beast of AI. Stop automatically turning on copilot each time I use your browser. I turn it off and then it turns back on once I leave the browser. Give us the complete and total option to keep copilot off. Why is an AI product in a browser? Think I can surf the internet without “assistance” from AI.

You have to turn it off every time you open Edge. Keep it off! AI in all its iterations should be off by default. And the freezing! It’s been a years’ long problem, good to see some things never change.

Problems since last update
Since the latest update a couple of days ago, the scrolling it jerky. It’s even jerky scrolling down my favourite links. Also the Copilot button will not permanently disappear. If you disable it completely in options it goes away but if you close the app and restart it, Copilot is back again. EDIT - just had another update to the app and both these issues are still there. The jerking is still there. The setting to remove copilot still doesn’t save if you close and re-open the browser.

It was scrolling smoothly but recently it it stuttering badly, nothing else is doing this, I will use a different browser because of this!

Works really well normally as a browser, but now and then it freezes and the app needs to be closed and reopened to work again
