The app is worth it, trust me.
Compelling but I have suggestions
I've switched from Covenant Eyes to Migiri because it contains features that I find a bit more useful. I do have a couple of questions / suggestions though (This was sent as a support email, but I thought I'd drop it here too)
1. I was wondering if there was an ability to add multiple people as companions. If not, then I suggest considering adding this ability. Being able to develop a community of fellow recoverers or accountability partners can be extremely powerful. I for one have multiple friends in mind who I'd love to have as companions.
What would be even better would be to develop some sort of social function from within the app, similar to Covenant Eyes. Then, friends would be able to see each other's progress from within the app itself (perhaps even with the ability to receive notifications) rather than having to check their email, which in all honesty is usually bloated and not checked very often by people these days, especially with the younger generation, myself included.
2. I don't quite understand the 'Protection Mode' function.
Under 'Preferences > App Uninstall Protection > Protection Mode', I saw that you have the ability to enable a feature where your companion's approval is needed in order to disable & uninstall Migiri. However, it seems to me that this feature is essentially useless because you can just as easily switch it back to "Hard" mode & then wait the 24 hour request period. It would make more sense if, once switched to "Companion" mode, one would need the companions approval in order to switch it back to "Hard" mode.
If this is the particular reason for not allowing multiple companions, the issue could be solved by allowing the user to assign one of their companions a sort of "primary status." This "primary" companion would be responsible for approving functions like this and any similar functions potentially added to the app in the future.
I really hope that your developers find these suggestions compelling. This is coming from the mind of a fellow addict who's trying to improve your app for the betterment of everyone using it, which will also drive more people to switching like I have. I'd love to see a response from your team letting me know if I can hope to see anything like these suggestions in future updates or just any thoughts at all. Thank you.

The moment I signed up I felt like a huge weight was lifted from me.
Horrible customer service
Do not download this app thinking you’ll get a refund if you ever dare to change your mind about your subscription. They will not respond to your emails, there’s no way to call them either. Absolutely do not recommend and it’s way too expensive. I didn’t even intend to get the subscription, they charged my card anyway, and when I tried to get a refund they just wouldn’t respond.

Easy Bypass.
The app is way to easy to bypass. There is no restrictions on VPN deletions which in my opinion, the best porn blockers should have. It’s a worthless app and you really shouldn’t pay for it at the ridiculous price they offer it annually. Take it from someone who is struggling strongly. Once the urges come, it takes about five seconds to bypass it through VPN deletion. That’s a waste of your money. Worthless app. If you want to stop. Get guilty enough and you will. Don’t waste your money on an app.

I will delete this review if the company comes through and refunds me. There is no way to unsubscribe through apple, and you get automatically charged at a YEARLY subscription, not monthly. This is so dishonest and scummy. Wrote to apple and to the app with nor reply yet
False reports
Migiri is sending false reports to my companion saying I downloaded a vpn or disabled the app from blocking porn causing us to argue….
Easily bypass companion
I like the app and it helps block whatever app or website I choose. But I can easily set it to where I can unblock anything without my companion. Even if I have it to where I need to get a request from them. This is the biggest flaw as it allows myself or anyone else to easily not be accounted for.

Do NOT try the free trial
I signed up for a free 7-day trial on their website, and upon discovering that the app offers little more than an illustrated rowboat timeline of days gone without porn, I deleted the app—but I made the mistake of not canceling the trial before my 7 days was up.
They proceeded to charge me $159.99 for a full year subscription. I immediately began emailing support, offering to pay for one month as penance for my oversight. They finally replied after one week, saying they will “consider reviewing my case” since it is an “unusual circumstance” in which I forgot to cancel the free trial that clearly stated I’d be charged for a full year at the end of the 7 days.
This is a dishonest company blatantly engaging in predatory sales tactics, counting on a percentage of you to try their “free trial” and forget to cancel so that they can legally mug you.

Software not working
Been using this software for over two years and it worked great then all of a sudden I can see all porn through the images. Their response was that I'm using Google throughout Google app on my phone so it does not work. That makes no sense I've been using it for two years. So they did not help my situation at all too bad it was such a great site. But don't waste your money!

Idea
It’s a great app but too easy to turn off (delete account) and relapse. If you added a time delay for deletion that would be more effective. If the user wanted to delete their account with the intention of relapsing they would have to wait a specified time of their choosing for deletion to take effect (1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours etc). By that time the urge and intention to use porn may have subsided and the user could avoid relapsing by cancelling the deletion of their account and would retain their “streak”.

Holy moly I’m not even gonna try it, at least try and pretend it’s cheaper by saying $20 a month or something, you’re gonna lose a lot of potential customers if they’re hit with 250 after a week.

Honestly didn’t think it was worth it. But this app is totally. Blocks all the triggers & distractions that would hinder my progress. Much love to you all GET THIS APP.

I cannot pay pay for the yearly subscription right now and could not find a monthly. I canceled my subscription a week ago but it’s still active and trying to charge me.

I canceled my “free trial” and they OVERDRAFTED my account $160. I have emailed twice now and they have not replied or sent a refund. Not once did I give them my permission to take my money like that.
