Great tool and app!

Have been using this app for years, and it’s been very useful. However, the app suddenly stopped working (does not open)…using iOS 18.3.2, have never had any issues until the past week that I’ve been trying to use it.

Sorry about the issue and thanks for your support of the app! For a small group of users, the app has a bug. Although it should go away, a delete and reinstall will solve the problem for those users. The data is stored on iCloud (you should probably first ensure it is enabled) so it will repopulate after reinstall. A must for every reservists

Great app for helping stay up on points and pay. I recommend it to everyone I meet who is new to the reserves. Only feedback would be ways to add additional points for correspondence courses and maybe a base points calculator.

Great App!

Hugely helpful for a TR trying to keep track of all the moving pieces: order type, points, pay etc. Highly recommend!

Great App

If it wasn’t for this app I wouldn’t be able to keep track of my TPs, UTAs, and various sets of orders accurately. After the most recent update the app keeps crashing and won’t load. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Excellent for keeping track of your drills/pay

This app has been really helpful as a new guardsman who is still learning all the different types of pay. It’s already helped me catch a couple of missing AFTPs. It’s easy to make sure you don’t exceed the quarterly limit of drill. And it tallies how much you’ve been paid and how much you’re still owed. User interface makes it simple versus having to keep excel spreadsheets up to date.

Very Good Tool

Great product for tracking drill and active duty pay. Easy to input dates and UTAs but doesn’t allow multiple inputs on the same day for mixed statuses? Would be a 5 star if it had a way to put things in like UTA/AFTP, GTP/UTA, etc.

Thank you for the feedback, it’s great to hear the app is helpful. The limitation for the number of events has been on the app since the beginning. That being said, you should be able to put in whatever data you like. I’m working on a big new version and may just leave that limitation out.

Calendar bug still present

I had to do a full calendar restore after opening the updated app (1.9.4). I hadn’t even synced the MilDrills calendar yet but all my appointments were deleted, on all calendars, including those shared with me by other people (even ones I did not have editing permissions for). The restore was only able to recover my personal calendar and not those owned by others.

v1.9.3 Cal Sync corrupting iCal

Version: 1.9.3

I believe your newest version of the app is corrupting the apple calendar. I had to do a full restore on my iPhone after I synced the MilDrill calendar to my Apple calendar. The MilDrill sync was causing all personal events in the calendar from my email account to be deleted from present day to September 2023. I ended up having to accomplish 2 restores of my phone to diagnose the problem to MilDrills Calendar sync function. Please fix this, the app has worked great for the last two years.

Sorry this happened to you or anyone else with version 1.9.3. There was an error in the code that caused problems with the calendar. Thanks to user reports the bug has been fixed and the current version will not cause any calendar issues.

Great App

Only thing to add would be a way to check off payments partially for base bay, bonuses, tax free, etc since a lot of pay comes in piecemeal. Otherwise great way to replace those excel spreadsheets for tracking pay

Great Product

Works well for tracking my drills. I like the “scheduled, mustered, paid” options which I use as a reminder to make sure my LES’s are accurate.

I was using a spreadsheet but very glad I switched to this app. Saves me time and energy.

Also, nice seeing your potential retirement pay based on current points.

Excellent Tool!

This app was already exceptionally helpful for tracking duties/pay/schedule simply on your phone without the need for some excel or numbers spreadsheet, and now that it will sync to calendars and has the ability to add notes to each duty period it is that much better! What an excellent and simple tool, Thank You!!
