Problem with rates
Does not have 2026 updated mileage rates. Typically, the app updates automatically with the new year’s mileage rates, but I don’t have it so I have to enter it manually. Cannot manually enter values as first number typed goes in front of the decimal instead of behind it and there is no decimal on the keypad.
Contacted the developer who told me to activate 1/1000th entryin the settings. They help did not say to do that Once it is set, it seems to work fine and it is added to the rate so I can select it for 2026 business mileage.

I have been unable to print out my 2024 report, it will let me send to email but won’t show up and print, have try to contact someone for help so I can get info for taxes

But I use the same vehicle every day, why can’t I set it as a default vehicle ?...so annoying having to select ever single time.
Decent App
At first was great. Easy to use etc... but now maybe after an update or something, can’t email the mileage log (ridiculous). And they have no phone support. So definitely will not be using this app anymore.

I switched to BizXpenseTracker. Got tired of waiting for features that are commonly available in many other logging apps (see below).

Tracking freelance miles is kind of a pain. I bought all the features of this app even though I didn't need them all so to support the developer. I like this app a lot, and I appreciate that I pay one price and not a subscription. I also don’t care for the notion for having to create an account in order to use a tracking app, so MEL is great for avoiding that annoyance.
One thing it's missing that it desperately needs is a "round trip" button so that when you manually enter mileage, you don't have to bother with the return trip. This is especially useful if you have non-business places to go after conducting business but before returning to office.
The other is the ability to create presets so that when you drive the same car to the same destination with the same mileage, you don't have to enter it *every single time* you get in the car and go. Frequented businesses, your PO Box, your bank... etc. Even if one item in the preset needs to be different (like you're taking a different car), it could prefll the fields then you could change what needs to be changed.
Overall the app is great, but it needs some love. I was hoping the update today (4/22/18) would include some changes but I don't see any differences at all.

Lost most of my data
Software had a glitch and locked up on me. Saved it to cloud but still had glitch in it trying to return it to my phone. Lost over a years worth of mileage tracking.
Disappointing!
Disappointed that this app does not time stamp start and stop locations. Paid for the full version only to find out it does not meet my needs.
Mileage Expense Log PRO
The app works fine but the Update in the Apple store to update to the 2018 rate book doesn’t work and there’s no way to contact the developer from the app or from the store. I’m hoping this bad review will get his attention!
Needs updated mileage rates
This app works well enough as far as using the odometer manual selection for me. However the mileage rates need to be updated for 2018 and there’s no way to manually override the preset rate.
Missing lot of options for $9 app
Can’t schedule bi yearly jobs or jobs that need to be done every 2-3 Year’s

Excellent. Easy to understand & use. Has all information needed for each trip for end of year information. Car used, where, why, miles driven & all expenses totaled related to ea trip.

Doesn't always track mileage.
I pushed the start button to track the mileage today. When I got home it showed I hadn't even moved. Not happy!

Good app
Good app for tracking mileage. One feature needs to be added. I do not drive my car only for work so the ending odometer from last trip is not necessarily the beginning odometer for next trip. Need to be able to log the trip at the beginning of the drive with date, trip details, and beginning odometer. Then be able to go back to the entry and log ending odometer. I tried to do this and the entry was gone when I went back to record ending odometer. Now I am having to write beginning odometer somewhere else and then enter all at the end of the trip.
