When it works
I used MileWiz to track my buisness miles. Very easy swipe right for buisness and left for personal. Easy to pull my report for taxes. Then it stopped tracking. Emailed customer support multiple times with no response. Loosing money daily with this lack of support company. I DO NOT recommend milewiz

Constantly closes. Can no longer use this app. Been fine past years but not now.
Stopped working since iOS update earlier in 2023.
The developer stated they will make it compatible; to no avail. I tried to seek a refund, which is not possible. So, it works on 2022 iOS.
Too many glitches
It will not let me sign into my iCloud account.
It is breaking up my trips into smaller trips, and I cannot find any setting reasonably placed as an option to stop that from happening. It was random about two weeks ago. Now I have over 100 trips whereas I probably really only should have about 10 to 14.

Battery drain!
While the app is really useful, accepting all the prompts to turn location services to ‘always on’ drains my battery. Will have to ignore the nagging to conserve energy!
Too much that doesn’t work for the price
I have paid the subscription for this, but it really is not worth the money. The issues have been long reported, ignored and left unaddressed. It kills the iPhone’s battery, it is inaccurate, it keeps nagging you to subscribe even when you have an active subscription and now the developer does not even bother to respond to bug reports.

Poor (No) technical support
In common with another recent review the app has stopped recording mileage consistently and the only reply I had from support was “well mine is working okay”. Not acceptable when I have subscribed and relied on the app for years. Cancelled my subscription and looking for an alternative…..I have received new a message from the developer and will give the updated app a shot now. I will update my review if necessary.

Lost $1,000 in mileage using this app
Signed up a year ago and the app did what it said, then the auto renew did not auto renew and I lost an entire month of mileage. There’s a lot of mileage trackers available but don’t pay these guys for theirs, I won’t be using this one anymore, I need my miles as part of my income, no way would I ever again use this app.

Hi The auto-renew is controlled by Apple, not us. If for some reason it didn't go through, there is nothing we can do, but Apple would usually send you an email informing you of that.
Really has lost it lately!
After years of happy use this app has become virtually useless.

Hi You can try exporting your data first (as a precaution) and then reinstalling. Perhaps something jammed and usually in cases like this it would be fixed after a clean install.
Not recording trips
I have used this app for a couple of years now with only a few minor hiccups. In the last 6-8 weeks the system has not been recording all trips and I have lost over £1000 in fuel expenses. I have tried to make contact with the help desk via the app twice but no one seems to want to respond.
I have a yearly subscription and feel I am getting ripped off because nobody cares. ! Switching to another app sorry MileWiz not good customer care.

Missing a lot of journeys
Not sure if it’s related to iOS15 but MileWiz is recently very poor at recognising journeys now

Great until….
After several years of use without issues the other day milewiz decided to uncategorise over 550 of my journeys…. I can see no way to restore a backup so it seems all f this data is lost. To say this is a minor issue would be an understatement. Lesson being do not rely on this, be better organised than I have been and regularly export backups!!

Miles are way off
For some reason the miles reported by the app are way off. One trip was more than 200 off.

Bait & Swich
There’s no mention that you only get a limited number of trips documented for free before an absorbent annual fee of $49.99 is required to continue with using it. I wasted more than an hour familiarizing myself with this app’s features only to find I was duped. I would have paid 20 bucks max with no annual renewal fee but 50 bucks per year. It’s not THAT good of an app.
