Which bag do you thaw first? How many days of milk are left in the freezer? Milk Stash answers both in a second: every frozen bag, its volume, its use-by moment, FIFO order and your pumping trends. No spreadsheet, no account, nothing leaves the phone.
FREE, INCLUDING EVERY SAFETY FEATURE
Unlimited bags, the pumping time, the thawing countdown, the alert before a bag stops being usable, the anti-refreeze warning, FIFO order, history, statistics, mL or US fl oz, and versioned JSON backups. None of it is behind a purchase, and none of it will be moved behind one later.
DAYCARE PACK - ONE-TIME PURCHASE (iOS only)
Going back to work is where the paperwork starts, and that is the part you can pay for once.
The week's plan: for each care day, which bag to take out, when to move it to the fridge, and the hour after which it is no longer usable - printed at home on a Sunday evening instead of guessed at 6:40 a.m.
Container labels: first and last name, date AND time of pumping, exact volume, frozen or thawed. One at a time as a PNG sized for a consumer label printer, or 21 to an A4 sheet as a PDF with cut marks, on the standard 63.5 x 38.1 mm label grid.
Daily handover sheet: a PDF of the containers you handed over this morning, in the shape a daycare copies into its own milk register.
It also covers several named storage places with their own low-stock thresholds, a daily reminder per place, and CSV or PDF exports of the whole inventory.
The first three container labels print for free, on real bags, so you see what the Daycare Pack prints before you decide to pay for it. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and it is shared with your Family Sharing group.
DASHBOARD
Bag count, total volume, and how many days of supply that represents at your baby's rate. An alert when the stash runs low, another when a bag is close to its expiry date.
FREEZER
Every frozen bag, sorted by date or by volume. Mark one used, put it back if plans change, delete it. FIFO always names the next bag to take out.
THAWING, WITH A DEADLINE
A bag taken out of the freezer stops being a line in a list: it gets a state, a use-by moment computed from the durations you set yourself, a countdown, and a local notification before that moment. Putting a thawed bag back in the freezer asks you to confirm.
PUMPING TRENDS
Daily and weekly volumes, 7-day against 30-day averages, and a warning when output drops in a way you would otherwise notice three weeks later.
HISTORY, SETTINGS, BACKUP
Every used bag stays on record and can be restored to the freezer. Set your low-stock threshold, your baby's estimated daily intake, care days per week, and your units. Export a versioned JSON backup, preview what is new, duplicated or changed, then import it on the other parent's phone.
PRIVACY
Everything is stored on the device. No account, no server, no analytics, no advertising. Documents are generated on the phone and go nowhere until you share or print them yourself. Milk Stash is a household register, not a medical device: the storage durations are the ones you enter.
