“Great Potential, But Frustrating Setup Experience”
I had high hopes for MinHub Youth + Sync + Portal after subscribing to the $25/month plan. I spent hours inputting my students, parents, and leaders into a database, only to hit a wall when trying to verify my Sync subscription. No matter what I tried, it just stayed stuck.
What’s most frustrating is that when I reached out for help, the response I received was the same copy-and-paste instructions from the original setup email, not the direct support I needed for the issue I was actually facing. In the end, I deleted the app (and all my data) out of sheer frustration.
I truly believe this tool could be a game-changer for youth pastors like me, but the lack of responsive support and the risk of losing hours of work makes it hard to recommend right now. I hope the developers will address these issues, because I want this app to succeed, it has real potential to help ministries thrive.

No support
Purchased subscription and does not work for us due to tech issues. Great app if supported. Reached out multiple times, multiple platforms and no reply. No refunds yet and tried to cancel within the window of 30 days as prescribed via website.
App is great, but no support for sync
I’ve been a huge fan of this app for many years, so picked it up again for my church’s current youth ministry. I also purchased a Sync subscription, so the database can be shared across multiple devices.
However, when I try to set up the sync account with the local database account, it keeps telling me there is an error and to email them. I emailed my issue more than a month ago and have received zero response. Quite frustrating. May just have to cancel the Sync subscription.

Exceptional Customer Service
I can't remember how I found MinHub I think it was in a Ministry Facebook group. We got the program and begun implementing it tonight. I'm loving it. If you been taking attendance on paper you'll love the switch. I had to reach out to support and they were super friendly. I'm still learning all the things I can do with this app. Kudos to the creator.

I’ve been using Youth MinHub for several years. My students love to check in each week! It really helps our Student Ministry Staff stay on top of who is there and isn’t, keep up to date contact info, and recognize new faces. Thankful for the help that is Youth MinHub!

I have been using this app for over a decade, maybe two, at several churches with several groups. It is hands down the best tool I have found to track student activity. Now I can track finances of students as well which really helps with trips and activities.
When I reach out for help I can talk (message) directly to the developer with questions and ideas for new features.
I recommend this app for every ministry, whether just starting out or or you have been up and running for years.

This app is a hidden gem! It lets me create a database of all my students and its easy to use! If you are a ministry leader or volunteer this app is a must!

Once you get the hang of how to use this, it is invaluable for tracking data and ministering to your students. Had an issue and the creator of the app took the time to ZOOM call with me to work it out. Great guy!

Great APP
Love this app and all it does! My only wish is that it was more desktop friendly for our check in stations that are not Ipads. Having said that.... IT IS AMAZING! Such a huge help and an essential tool we can't go without.

Min hub is a great tool for student ministry. It’s gone through many phases and the recent updates make it work really well with a team of leaders.

This is the best app I’ve found for communicated with parents and teens as well as tracking involvement. Been using for several years now and there have been a few issues, but the customer service has been wonderful and all issues fixed quickly! Thankful for the developers for seeing a need and working on this app!

Functionally Sufficient
MinHub Youth is a functionally sufficient app. It has seen several updates/upgrades over the years, making it better. Would love to be able to better understand reporting features and to have better control over removing students/leaders.
